What is your view of the new centerpiece of size 1?

It is a bit on the simple side im afraid. Its modelled after:

Don't put two churches in the same city.

Better to replace the center piece with a larger church and add a castle.

I agree with Steph, use the smaller church for size 1, the larger for 2 and add a castle for size 3.

Btw, the small church is beautiful BECAUSE it's simple - romanesque, that is.

Actually it is easier for me to have a castle in 3, since those are generally simpler to model than cathedrals.

Although the roof looks very simple (just a pyramid) so i don't know if it will look good, since it is quite big too.

Two churches in size 3 are ok, but strange in size 2. Other than that, everything looks very nice. Will you use the walls you used for the older Byzantine set and the French set (that never was released)?

I am using the walls for the ancient greek and byzantine sets.
