Personally i think it looks quite good.

Edit: Sorry Ares, i only just saw your request.

I tried to have a pallisade, but it didnt show up much. As for the hill it would be in disharmony with the other sets.

Not sure what i will do for the houses. It might be hard to create very different ones from those in the egyptian set..

I'm not sure if the Dome of the Rock is a good centerpiece for size 1... maybe for size 3? It's very unique.

You are right. In fact i think it won't have it at all, since it has three unique colours, and it won't look good with the roof of other buildings..

I might release it as a resource though.

Do you like this as an ancient barricade?

I would need some idea for the fort though.

I had this idea:

The fort is a bit on the small side compared to the barricade, but this won't matter when i will have created similar ones for all eras.

You could use the motte of the Scandinavian set as Fortress. The Donjon of the French set would work, too.
