The questions-not-worth-their-own-thread question thread IV

EDIT: I was wrong too initially, as Bozo's initial post shows "I love you". But it is supposed to be distinct from the adopted "devil sign".

Has Bozo changed the post?

I think the sign is still "I love you." Which, as I said, just makes it all the more amusing, you know, people trying to be bad and hardcore and whatever else really just flashing the "I love you" sign...

Yeah Bozo's OP shows the thumb extended. That is "I love you". The implication was why do the heavy metal and wantabe cool partiers do the similar "sign of the horns" (thumb curled into the palm). Much confusion around, probably mostly do to nubs imitating the "sign of the horns", and the 'illicit' connection of it to the Church of Satan. And maybe an odd heavy metal band was trying to say that they love their fans? ;)

Both hand-signs have long histories and are distinct from each other, though.

Question: beard maintenance. At what point does it become appropriate to use a comb, shampoo, that sort of thing?

If you have ever gotten a buzz or a short haircut, than you should know about how long until you need to use a comb. I always stroke my beard until its long enough to use a comb. For the shampoo, it's never to early in my opinion. you should be using soap on your chin anyway. I would say use bar soap and when its long enough to comb, than use shampoo. Of course I never shampooed my beard, I just lather with bar soap.

@Pete Atoms: Plz plz post a picture of you while combing your beard!

I was speaking from experience in the past, I only grow my beards during summer vacation when I don't have classes, so right now I am clean shaven.

Yes, because currently I can't buy the seventh part due to money shortage and I grew a high curiosity about the conclusion of the series.

Done! Pm'ed..cause i couldn't get Spoiler working and i don't want to ruin the end for other people.

Unfortunately I won't come. :( Will there be a possible meetup again in '10 when I will life on the North American continent?
I mean, you can look at the inevitable pictures. :p

Yeah, but that's nothing compared to meet the members in person. BTW, could it possibly be in Toronto or in the vicinity of that area by next year? 'Cause that would be just perfect for me.

How about in your living room? Have to buy the food and drink ;)

Where does Google get the images for their Google Earth program? Do they own their own satellites? Do they have a satellite time-share?

Along those lines, do Satellite TV companies have their own satellites? Do cellphone's use satellites, and do the phone companies have their own satellites?

And if all these companies have their own satellites, how is that not a national security risk? How do they get them up there? Do they pay NASA to send them into space? or the Russians?
