Is the army right for me?

I don't think we know enough about you

Edit- i'm incredibly biased any armed force anyway, so you probably just want to ignore me.

anyone know how to find the .exe file for Civ 4? where is it?

A quick way to find it, is to go to the shortcut on your desktop, rightclick it, click the "find target" button, and windows explorer will bring up the folder in your programs directory that has the file in it.

thanks guys, i owe you one

What exactly could one with a physics degree do? I'm considering changing my major or double majoring, as I'm still not too sure of my choice of majors(mechanical engineering) as I have the thought stuck in my head that it's just college educated menial labor from what my teachers seem to have accomplished in their lives. Granted I go to a crappy state school, but whatever.

You could teach physics (seems like an obvious answer, but probably not one you were looking for).

Most physicists I know go into banking or helping banks with computing. I have even known physicists go directly into economics because they know the mathematics.

How competitive are they with actual economists? (with an economics major)

More competitive. Economists' maths is poor. Bankers like mathematics because it gives a sheen of respectability to a profession that is basically a load of gamblers.
