As with any sort of strenuous work, keep fed and watered and trained. That way, it both limits how much it hurts and how much you care

Warm-up exercises? Seems like the only way.

Hmm... Dehydration sounds like the most probable cause: I usually don't feel thirsty in the pool, but even more so after getting out from there. Thanks! :goodjob:

If frozen food that's supposed to be fried has spent ~20 hours at room temperature, and then was frozen again for a couple of days, is it safe to eat?

The Red Cross says that any food that's spent 40 minutes at room temp is unsafe to serve. Obviously that's an extreme, and they are covering their liability butt. However once something that is supposed to be kept refrigerated has been warm and out in the open for a long time, you want to be careful with it.

From the red cross' point of view, they were probably referring to very hot countries when they wrote that. If you ever have to get food out to people in places nearer the equator, food left out for more than about half an hour is almost poisonous.

Well I got that from a lecture I once sat through with them on disaster relief preparation here in the US.

I'm thinking of taking an elective since I only have 14 credits lined up next semester. Thinking of either intro to psychology, intro to sociology, intro to anthropology, or maybe ethics(intro to philosophy is filled already). Which one would be likelier to have hot womens do you think?

How long does it take an adult individual of average health in their early 20's to starve to death provided they have water but no food?

Roughly three weeks. However, after more than a few days you become massively less fit, so if you're thinking of a survival situation always take more food than you will ever need. Assume that you are going to starve the mealtime after you eat your last ration.
