Am I the only one who thinks that a law prohibiting children 3 and under from flying on airplanes would be a good idea?

Well, present to us why it'd be a good idea.
I think it would solve the crying baby problem.

Although to be sure, banning kids 6 and under might be better. :p

What to do about when little kids nearly run between my legs, and since I have poor balance, I almost fall down and potentially squash them? The parents are nowhere to be seen but if I did fall on them I'm sure they'd find a lawyer fast.

Keep your distance from the kids, stay near the walls, or keep furniture between you.

Problem is they run up from behind me so I can't see them.

Do lion tamers even use chairs?

The problem isn't babies crying, it's adults who are too sensitive to how life actually works or who are obsessed with their own comfort and self importance. :p

The problem is adults who havent taught their kids some manners. I understand a 0-18 month old crying, they cant do much else to signal their discomfort to their parents, but older than that, kids should not be constantly throwing tantrums, running up and down the isle's screaming and kicking my seat every 15 seconds. I dont believe I have to put up with that. When your kid starts yelling at you to get his way, you shouldnt sigh and go "Oh what am I going to do with him?" No, you take his whiny little rear end and give it a smacking.

Or you can strap him to Tsar Bomba, drive 100 miles away, push the little red button, and problem solved. :D

:lol: Yes, parenting is little more than telling a child how to behave and then smacking them when the fail to follow orders. Exactly how many kids have you raised?

If you don't like flying the bus from city to city, better get a first class seat. :p

He didn't say it was. However, instilling proper discipline is a component of parenthood.

Why are most franchises restaurants or at least other food selling establishments?

There's a whole bunch of reasons but for starters I would suggest:

* quality assurance;
* economies of scale; and the
* certainty and help that the chain provides to new owners
