Well, Wikipedia doesn't seem to mention any dangers of the radiation, although yes, radio waves are used to induce the effects, so I was wrong there.

how do they test a brain for a "con cush in" (my mom says the mentil helth docters are thinking I got it ... i lookd up the medicitins they priscribid and their suppsed to be indistral-strenth panekillers i forgut the word for those kinds of panekillirs)

I don't know about con cush in, but that syphilis we warned you about a few months ago seems to be in full swing! This is serious! You need to get it sorted out right away! Look at how it has affected your simplest cognitive abilities!

They're not going to waste a CT scan on a concussion, you get huge amounts of radiation from them.

Besides, there isn't really any treatment for concussions, doctors just want to confirm you haven't suffered more serious brain trauma, and tell you to stay away from activities where you could re-concuss yourself.

I got an MRI to see if I had a concussion. I don't think you get radiation from them...

i hit my hed on the wall at scool (i was using the green screen in film class i thogt there was a cushin behind it). and i saw some flashy things and felt dizzy and a few days latir I got a relly bad hedache.

That sounds like it could be a concussion.

I know, MRIs and CT scans are different things.

CT scans use ionizing radiation, MRIs use non-ionizing radiatian.

And like I said, you don't get an MRI to see if you have a concussion, you'd be getting one to confirm that you haven't suffered some more serious brain damage.

So on a scale of 1-10 how terrified should I be of the creation of artificial life?

He certainly looks like an evil genius.

1. Doesn't seem too different from ordinary recombinant DNA experiments. It's just the scale that's different.

Great. Now the thread is gonna get shut down.
Moderator Action: Sadly, you are correct.

To those who posted sincere questions and answers and tried to honestly be helpful - thank you. That is how threads like this should be used.
