Yes! My favourite thread is back.

What is it about Americans that makes them scream uncontrollably like total morons whenever they're on television or win even the smallest thing? It's extremely annoying. And it appears to be contagious, as I'm noticing more and more non-Americans doing it.

I don't have an answer but I'll add more context to this...

This reminds me of a live BBC broadcast from South Africa a few weeks ago. A journalist was talking to England fans live, when an American slapped a fan around the chops with a cream pie and shouting "USA #1". Before scuttling away before the camaras.

Why haven't I seen Winner or mIRC in such a long time? Where are they???

Hehe, what? (this is a joke, right?)

And as for Americans who scream in front of a camera, there are people that don't do that?? How strange.

From a "heartbreaker" He never had sooo much, even though his band reciting this name. Rather, broke her fast the rigidities of the U.S. rock scene in the mid-seventies and cracked the charts - like today. Now with a 30th U.S. tour Geburtstag celebrated, the stripped down album HIGHWAY COMPANION luggage.

What does that last sentence mean?

Hi, I'm on semester break from uni, and looking for a good book on exchange rates and policies around the world, anyone know any?

I'm a first year economics student so i can probably, or would like to, take on more advanced readings, but a more intermediate read is fine as well :)

Also any recommendations for other economic books on financial markets or anything related would be great too.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks from Wong512

Winner is probably banned, Mirc probably has a life.

What about thelastone? Where's the forum's resident Pole? WHY HAVE ALL THE EUROPEANS DISAPPEARED!!!

and more importantly .. Where is Dachs??
I've been wondering that myself. History is far less interesting without him. Maybe he saw all the "Hitler could have won if he did..." threads and died a little inside every time, as I do. He's been here longer than me, so maybe it finally pushed him over the edge.

he never was that much of a heartbreaker, although his band played under this name.
however, he quickly broke apart the incrustations of the mid-seventies us-rock-scene and got into the charts - just like today.
now they celebrate their 30th birthday with a us-tour, their trimmed down album "highway companion" being part of the luggage.

Germans!

I am going to Neuschwanstein Castle with a friend on Saturday, and we need an idea for what to do for the day after. We've already been to Munich so we would like to go to another place. (Already been to Nurnburg, Frankfurt, and we're from Wuerzburg.) Any recommendations?

It's a bit of a drive, but Salzburg is very nice (also, gas is one euro cheaper in Austria...fill up there...).

We don't have a car, so train or some other form of public transportation will have to do.
