Why has this thread turned into a Star Wars thread?
Hell if I know. It really shouldn't be.
Make a seperate one. I had a question but everyone got so caught up in that crap that nobody will find it now
Well I'd shut up about Star Wars in this thread. If you want a Star Wars thread, start your own.
Moderator Action: Okay, folks... I've made a separate thread for Star Wars discussion in the Arts & Entertainment forum. Please confine any Star Wars discussion to that thread, and keep it civil.

It is located here: Star Wars - Movies, Books, TV shows, etc.

What would cause a bag of microwavable popcorn to explode in a microwave. Popcorn went all over the place and the bag was split.

No clue. Just a guess but was the temperature on a higher setting then normal? Maybe its just defective popcorn or something.

Higher temperature than usual or on for too long. Assuming the bag itself wasn't defective, those are the only things that would make it explode.

Well I put it in for the normal amount of time on the same setting. Maybe the bag was defective. I dunno.

If it matters it was extra-butter popcorn and the bag was sorta soaked in oil but I didnt pay attention to that.

Well there's your explanation right there. Coat something in oil, it tends to explode when heated. Either that or catch fire.

Alright, long story short.

My cousin's boyfriend, irresponsible with finances, had his car repossessed. Our mutual friend has been staying at their house every night because he takes my cousin's bf to work.

We get together for game night when both are home from work, and my cousin's bf is going to pay our mutual friend for the gas money. All is good, right?

No. That mutual friend has said tonight, after game night, he's going to say he can't take him to work anymore.

Given that my cousin's bf has huge anger issues, however... it's not outlandish to assume he'll take it the wrong way and wryyyyy. I would rather there not be issues, but let's translate this into simple English: my cousin's boyfriend will no longer be able to work, putting the final nail in his coffin. The gravy train will finally come off the tracks, after being there for three to four years, supplying aid from countless relatives of mine to him and my cousin.

I may go over early, before my friend gets off at midnight. Is there anything I could do to make sure he takes it well? ..as well as being told you're fired can be taken, anyway.

This was in an article.

Hence the essential paradox of Tom Petty: on the one hand, he's like the rest of us because he spends a lot of time waiting for something to happen; and on the other hand, he's like Yahweh because he's creative and moody as hell.

Who the heck is this Yahweh guy. I think Im missing something here. I gooogled it and got a song?

I typed yahweh and got "Yahweh is the personal name of God in the Hebrew Bible". First link Wikipedia.

Thanks. Im not sure why I kept getting results for a song in google. Maybe Im just dumber than I thought.
