Probably someone having a laugh.

Was there ever a war between America and Australia?

It says here that on June 29th, 1978, the president and the prime minister agreed on peace.
Additionally check out June 8th.

Yes, this is why Wiki is not always reliable. Come on, do you really believe that "April 2 - United States President Jimmy Carter declares war on Australia after talks over the Sand Crisis break down. First troops leave from Los Angeles." ??

No, the only time the US could have been considered to be at war with Australia would have probably been the war of 1812 when Australia was a colony of GB.

Why is it that I need to cough whenever I eat something covered in powdered sugar? I spray that stuff everywhere when I do.

:(

Conditioned response. You did it once or twice or perhaps thrice for real reasons, now every time you see a donught you do the same. If you want to break yourself free of the Pavlovian cycle, you need to use the power of your mind to over come your auto-suggestion.

I used to know a guy who snorted extra strong mints. That made him sneeze a lot too. Strange chap. Middle of Classics lesson, he comes in sits down, everyones talking away awaiting the teacher. Next thing you know he gets out his pencil case ruler etc, breaks out some extra strong mints, crushes one, spreads it into a line and then snorts it, spends the next five minutes with red eys and sneezing his head off. Quite the funniest unprompted and unusual piece of ad hoc comedy I've ever seen, or certainly up there.

Icing sugar is so light that it floats in the air and you breathe it in. Try breathing out as you bring the item closer to your mouth, and then breathing in only once you've swallowed, or at least soaked all the icing sugar.
It's the sugary dust landing on your throat that makes you cough.

People are freakin' crazy.

Teacher wasn't there, hadn't arrived yet. He was doing some serious menthol, sugar based, free basing crap. I wont condone his actions (drugs are bad m'kay) but I did laugh for about 3 minutes.

It was, It still makes me laugh to this day. The guy was a bit of a loner but man he went up to a new level that day in everyone's estimation. Laughed our friggin arses off. Especially when the teacher finally arrived and asked if anything was wrong, how do you explain that? Sometimes people do the coolest things without being prompted.

I ask because I saw the name Kamalakannan Radharamanan in my graduation program. I know of no other language where a letter is so blatantly favored like that.

its not a the letter but the sound 'uh', which I believe is prevalent in Sanskrit and Dravidian languages, which provide massive amounts of names.

Also, 'uh-' as a prefix sound that is also its own syllable in Sanskrit is considered to make the following word negative. So the word for 'weak', with uh- in front of it would make it 'strong'. Not meaning there is no true word for strong, but that's one way of putting it.
