Well from close range yes, but thats from the wide arc of shot. Distance you will stuggle to hit anything.

The world is giving in to Russia. If we don't attack them, there will be peace for our time.

Why is every computer in every movie, always a Mac? Does it have something to do with advertising?
It's not always a Mac, but very often yes. I'm sure it has to do with advertising. Also, movie people often use Macs because Macs have traditionally had very good multimedia software. Supposedly.

Bigger the thread, larger the server load, so it cuts down on costs/load time if we lock them away after 1000
Utter nonsense. A simple SQL query will retrieve exactly the posts needed to display one page of a thread. If the server software actually acts differently with a thread of 10,000,000 posts and a thread of 10 posts, then the programmer did a bad job. It should be EXACTLY the same query to retrieve a page for a thread of 10,000,000 posts and a page for a thread of 10 posts. I'm assuming the programmer made use of a database, which is a very reasonable assumption.

V is awesome. There does not have to be a reason.

Two questions.

Does anyone know of a free genealogy resource online?

What would happen to the ecosystem if mosquitoes went extinct?

Depending on your luck, ancestry.com will have what you are looking for.

It's what I use.

The luck parts comes into play if a relative of yours (even distant) is a paying member and has a tree with your line in it.

This is French:

Marine Nationale

How is the "tion" part pronounced? Like English which would be "shun" or where each letter is pronounced, like "tee on"?
the first one

Nothing special would happen. Mosquitos are a good food source for lizards and birds (I can't remember the exact details, so I'm guessing a bit), but would most likely be rapidly replaced by other flies.

What are the leading broad categories of organisms, in terms of total biomass? For instance, is there more biomass of trees, or of phytoplankton? Among the animals, who's ahead of humans? Termites? Ants? Zooplankton?

I'm sure I heard in the last week on a nature programme that there are far more plankton than any other organism, by mass.

What kind of question warrants it's own thread, or just a post here? I believe the hot topic of Legos vs. lego started here.

What does the extended middle finger mean to you?
