Where's my thread "Nahuatl for civilized dummies"? It's not even in the archives!

It lives in this post

I has a question too. What are some examples of English words that have recently shifted in their most-accepted spellings? Example, if nite were to become regarded as more "correct" than night. By recently I mean specifically within the past century or so, but generally since widespread literacy.

Dropt/dropped? :dunno:

Would there be riots in Europe if US won the next World Cup?

I debated whether or not to make a thread for this, but I guess I'll just put it here.

What do you think would be a good name for a jazz radio show?

I think "The Soul Power Hour" would be an awesome name, but the program will include other types of jazz besides Soul, such as R&B, Blues, and traditional jazz (Duke Ellington, Miles Davis). So if you have any ideas just spit 'em out.

Bigfoot breakin' down the 33 and a 1/3's.
Bigfoot's boogie woogie bebop hour
Bose bouncing with Bigfoot

Is it really illegal to yell "fire" in a croweded theater?

What if there really is a fire?

No. And plus this is just an arbitrary "what-if". It will never actually happen. (US winning the World Cup, not Europe rioting)

It sounds quite British to sue somebody, or at least prosecute somebody that was trying to save everybody's life by shouting fire in the event of just that.

Well, the Supreme Court has ruled that the first amendment does not protect doing this. I would think it violates some law, like reckless endangerment or something like that.

BigFoot's Smooth Soul

Bigfoot's boogie woogie bebop hour
Bose bouncing with Bigfoot

All excellent suggestions. :D

On a serious note: I recently came up with "Soulful Sounds". A song can definitley be soulful without being a soul song. (But Soul Power Hour sounds so cool!!)

On a silly note: I think the show should be called Bigfoot's boogie-woogie bebop doo-wop sha-bop zop tick-tock round-the-clock sock-hop.

Umm Centre is the BRITISH/CANADIAN/FRENCH spelling, center is the unsophisticated american spelling. However, you will occasionally see something like 'The Puck was dropped at centre ice of the ______ Center.'

Personally I prefer centre, but w/e.

Whats with all this polad crap at the moment?

The Poland crap comes from a supreme lack of satisfaction with any possible conclusion about anything involving it.

UPDATE: I'm pretty much settled on "Soul, Jazz & Blues." That covers all the bases, plus it sounds like a law firm.

@Masquerouge: Soccer is extremely important in Europe and we do love to protest:D
(seriously, it's a regular social event)
