I'm playing the original Fallout and as a relative noob to rpgs I may have some troubles but this is the big thing, as I have barely even started the game- I leave the cave, right outside Vault 13, and it opens a map, and IDK how to close this or open it any other time, if that's possible. What am I supposed to do? The best I've figured out is to set course for Vault 15, but I got stopped at some body and get surrounded by mantises. Help. Please.... The grid on this map also has green circles. Yeah. Don't know what those are. I'm a noob in need, don't deny this to me.

Wow, you really are a noob. The green circles are places you go to. You move your little X or whatever denotes your current location to go to the green circles. Then when you're there, your interface should change to allow you to go inside a zoomed version of the circle. So if you go to Shady Sands, your location should change to a triangle, you click on the triangle, then you go into Shady Sands. With the mantises, you just kill them, or you walk to the exit spot on the encounter terrain, and exit. The exit spots are at the edges of the encounter terrain.

Is there a word that means to update the language of a book, document, etc.?

Shouldn't all this stuff be in the manual?

Nobody reads manuals anymore, and that's out of people who purchase hard copies of a game in person. Not insuating he pirated the game or anything, as there are various legal download methods I'm sure, don't know which may apply for this game. But anyway, yes, I'd think it would be in the manual if he had access to own.

:(

I read manuals all the time. I even try to find them online if the game doesn't come with them, or at least exhaustively go through the in-game manuals, such as Civolopedia. I don't see how you can get the most out of the game without reading the manual.

Does anyone know the name of the medical condition that causes you to faint sem-regularly at random moments? It's not narcolepsy. It's different relating to low blood pressure and has a long medical name.

Diabetes? Epilepsy? Potassium Defficiency?

No none of those. It was three words. I wish I had listened closer when she said the name. I didn't want to ask and embarrass her. Bad enough to collapse in the middle of class and have EMS and the police called.

Manuals suck nowadays though. I used to read all the manuals but they don't bother nowadays except to give some little disclaimers and go over the menus which is entirely pointless, if you're too stupid to figure out that stuff then I don't see how you can even work any form of electronics.

Ah, I remember the good old days, when a manual would actually explain, in detail, how to play a game. Dark Reign's manual was especially good for this.

Dysautonomic Orthostatic Intolerance? Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia?

Has anyone else seen An Inspector Calls? It's a great play, but I didn't get some of it:

  • Was there necessarily a girl who committed suicide at all?
  • Are Eva Smith and Daisy Renton necessarily the same person?
  • If Goole is not a policeman, how come he knows so much about everything?
  • Did everyone see the same photograph?

Any literate people, please help!
It sucks. I don't remember it closely, but I think that none of these is specifically answered. We assume that 1, 2 and 3 are yes.
The play is propaganda making one point and one point only: that suicide is actually murder.
Other points of dramatic interest are irrelevant.

Vasovagal syncope?

When you see a new edition of textbook it generally says revised and updated.
Revised being that it was changed a bit. Updated for more recent examples or statistics.

Vasovagal syncope?

Yes! That's the one. It had a v in it. And when she tried to stand she couldn't. She collapsed when she was sitting back down in her chair. Yes this must be the one.
