The Realm of Fantasy

I had a crash and it came out to Promotions "City Raider 1/2/3", this has happend in the past so i just deleted them from the promotion tree, ok!!

If anyone wants the new promotion file i just uploaded it under "Python_XML_v6.zip" but beware it will break the saved game.

Also this will be the last time i put all the files in the Web page for dial-up people, unless someone asks for it between now and next Friday!!!
 
have you added keal's speed mod into this?

btw, and not dealing with this question, BUT, OK people this should be getting better, but there is an idiot out there that hates the stuff i do and always gives a one (1) star rating, idiot. So WE need to beef up the ratings ok, thx. He must have a few names on here, cause he does it every two months!!

EDIT EDIT: Until i can find out what is going on with this attacking crash, no more updates!!!.
 
Give it awhile, FileFront is going thru a readjustment part for thier server, OK!!

When downloading it takes about a minute FOR NOW to get to the page, so pls be patient.

See post # 2 for up coming changes that will be taking place plus the BtS will help tremendously and WE are going to use as much of that as possible.

Pls be patient, changes take awhile. Some of these are complex. Well at least for me, LOL:crazyeye: :p

But we still need ideas and help if possible??

Why don't you call it Fall From Heaven for Warlords then?

Or are you going to take it as base and make something different from it?

I can't tell from your posts what this mod actually DOES. Is this the FfH RPG Mod you announced a while ago?

Yes, and Yes, He asked me not to call it that, cause its just like you said WE are just using the base of it for NOW (besides BtS will have it also, but alot of changes there also:p ! Lots of plans coming, in the works already.;) And thx for asking a question!!

Like it says at the time, it was the FIRST Magic Fantasy Warlords game out there. And nope, the RPG one was from Grey Fox (i believe), i am waiting to do alot more when BtS comes out. Right now just adding units and trying out certain pyhton stuff, but will make a big change when BtS does come out. Then will use that as a Base also.
If you really want to find out what the base of this is about you can check this thread out, all i am doing right now is making unique units and stuff, but will change everything soon,

I will take a look a that point thx. If you have a saved game place it here, maybe i can take a better look at it that way.

This is probably just my non-default location install of Civ4 & Warlords (under c:\games\Civ4\ ), but many Civilopedia entries show a variable name instead of the appropriate text. For example, all the new resources (between Sugar and Uranium in the Civilopedia list) show names like "TXT_KEY_BONUS_ANCIENTTEMPLE" instead of a normal name. One building has a similar weird name "TXT_KEY_BUILDING_SENATE_BUILDING"; while most buildings have a history variable instead of text (e.g. TXT_KEY_BUILDING_ALCHEMY_LAB_STRATEGY), and a few (Herbalist, Library, Temple of Veil), provide +1 health or happy with "TXT_KEY_BONUS_REAGENTS". There are probably more places where this happens. The Mod seems to work fine otherwise, although I haven't played much (difficult to learn the changes when you can't read the info).

Does anyone know how to fix this? I downloaded TRoFv6 on June 17, so should have the latest version. Civ4 and Warlords are fully patched up. Also downloaded FfH2.022 at the same time. It had the same problem until I updated with the 22h patch. So there is likely something fixable in the code, if time permits. PS: sorry if this should have been posted elsewhere, I did not find a bug forum for TRoF. Thanks - David.

Nope you got it exactly correct, i will try and fix these as soon as i can( i am only ONE person), thx for the info, i knew about these text errors but i keep forgetting to fix them, thats why i need people saying whats right and wrong with the MOD, much appreciated. If more people would write down things and explain them here, would make this a better MOD, thx. Just give me a little more time, thx.:p
 
Need to find out from the players here, which is better, would you'll like to get Heroes or Dragons when you enter a conflict?? Or any other suggestions you have.

So far what we've come up with is: If a Civ starts a war (Realm of Darkness) they get a lower strength unit, and the one attacked (Realm of Light) will get a higher strength one.

I need more ideas??? Come on help me out here ok, thx.
 
I've been off playing FFH2 for a while, but for now I think I like RofF a little more. It's more of a strategy game than the epic that FFH has become, and also better balanced. (In FFH you are overrun with animals, so get the Baron and you are home.) I do hope you take the game in your own direction. I'd like to see more wonders and resources. One thing you might consider is adding a quest element to the game. Oh, yeah, for a conflict, put me down for 'heroes'. Cheers.

Thx, for the info and if you read post # 2 , i have put alot of info in the direction we are going to be taking soon, some have been installed already, but alot will take quite a while, everybody but me is on vacation right now, sigh!!:rolleyes:

As far as the wonders and stuff you betcha, after BtS comes out there are going to be alot of units/buildings/wonders etc coming in the game, dont want to do right now cause if they change even one line there, then that'll be too much work, so i am waiting, sorry.

But i do want responses from people, like the heroes part, thx. Even a bad report on things here, is a good thing, so write all you can here in the forums thx.:p
