The retconning of the President

fighting reagan is very politically unfeasible in the current climate. he's very loved by the middle. of course that needs to change, but i don't see the appeals to him as anything but that, recognizing that he's, sadly, still very popular.

This was true 15 years ago but I would say his reputation has since been corrected.

Except for the empowerment of racists and the direct attempt to overthrow the USA, Bush junior would have been a worse president than Trump. Though his final two years during the democratic congress were pretty decent. The first five were incredibly fascistic, and they too wanted to overthrow the USA just not as brazen and stupid.
