Glad to hear it. Right now I am playing the original Pacific scenario. Trying to get used to civ 4 again. Its been like two years since I've played it.

The mod sounds epic, but can someone explain the downloading process to a techno-noob? I downloaded this from filefront, but I could not find the original rtw file. Extracting public maps did not work either. Someone plz plz plz help!

The entire file contents replaces the current Road to War.

If you want to play the original - I suggest you back it up to another location.

FYI - the second link is for a bad copy. I'm trying the Atomic Gamer d/l now - hope it's not corrupt.

Why can't I select Hitler or Hirohito? I used to be able to...hmmmn...

Did you accidentally use a base map instead of the Hitler/Hirohito ones?

Nope, base ones allow Papen/Yamamoto but the "naughty ones" you can't choose Germany or Japan at all. This is for all those kinds of maps.

Disappointing, as I am not offended by history and would prefer to play it intact. Jeez, I would even be OK if it had some kind of mechanic for concentration camps.

That's interesting; should be the same maps that Dale used when he first released UE. Other than changing the intro text to remove references to downloading updates (since the "official" version of the mod has ceased development), all I did was convert to 3.19.

Worked out the issue, all the map files with Hitler/Hirohito don't have them even on the map!

The Global Assault one (which I want to play) is completely devoid of human civilization east of France...

Maybe try re-downloading? My civ install has UE from the same zip file I uploaded and it didn't have that issue when I checked the last time I booted into Windows.

3 different downloads from both sites, all the same concern...nothing east of France, just uninhabited terrain.
