    I want to propose this:

    http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:NewTux.svg
    in a smiley version.

I'm especially interested that this little guy is included in the "Post Icons" section.

I exported the .svg into different sizes of .png files (attached).

    Redarg
P.S.: Any other Linux related smiley would be okay for me.

He is the symbol for the Linux computer thing. Sort of like the Windows logo.

I realize that. But what emotion, feeling, or sentiment is he supposed to express? If I put one in my post, am I expressing happiness, amusement, anger, sarcasm, or something else?

These smileys don't really express any sort of emotion, feeling or sentiment.

Nah see, my point was that a smiley doesn't have to convey a specific emotion, feeling or sentiment in order to be worthy of inclusion.

I like this Yahoo Messenger smiley. Dunno if we're allowed to use it, or if someone can re-draw it.

"Chintap" is often used on one of my forums to indicate the poster is thinking about the topic seriously, making a suggestion, or trying to reason something out.

:hmm: also indicates thinking, but it's not the same kind of thinking. The difference is in the nuances -- this smiley sometimes contains an element of sarcasm, depending on the context of the post.

"Popcorn" is often used to indicate the poster is hungry, or finds the thread amusing -- as in sitting down to watch an entertaining movie. :)

Thanks. It's one of my favorites. :D

Just saying: Does anything we're doing here matter? I mean, is Thunderfall or anyone else looking at or considering any of our contributions or opinions?

Take a look at the last thread(that reached a 1000 posts) TF does add many of the ones we suggest.
