Ouch. JBG, I think we're going to have issues since we changed our GlobalDefines.xml and not the GloabDefinesAlt.xml. :(

If you have the time you'll need to painstakingly go down and see what actually got changed and what didn't. Something that didn't, but that Firaxis changed is causing the font issues for the Mod.
 
How do you mean 'font issues'? Is everything too big/small/purple or something?

I assume it's font since the main menu has no words where the options should be. :)

Next time we'll know enough to change the AltGlobalDefines. Live and learn.
 
Hey, is there a new version out, or at least one with a workable download link? None of the ones in this thread work

I'd say "stay tuned" for now. I could easily upload another version, but it wouldn't be playable with 1.61 yet. Keep checking.... ;)
 
well, maybe the new one will work, .22 didn't work before or after the patch, game started to load and generated a would you like to send an error report? now I can be all eager and stuff!

If you want to upload an error report that'd be cool. I'm sure someone other than me could make sense of it. ;)
 
I wish I had an error to post, I load the mod, loads the mod fine, lets me select and fiddle with options on customer game(though leaving on default has the same effect) and when I click on to start the game, the little swirly thing starts going, then it crashes back to windows completely, I used to get an error report thing but the last few times even that doesn't happen, I thought it might be the mod files I got were bad or something, but I dunno
 
Have you renamed anything? Or, if that's not the case, have you put the moon_map.py file in your Public_Maps folder? I've heard of all sorts of things going strange if that's not done...
 
Hmm, it appears the link to the .22 file has timed out.
 
haven't renamed anything(though do have other mods installed, can't see as how that matters though *grin*) do have map in public maps, it all works fine during loading/setup, it's just when the little mouse cursor is swirling like a circle during startup, and right about when you start to hear... "In the beginning..."
 
so, is it fixed up for the 1.61 patch? I want to be able to try it without any patch incompatibility issues.
 
the download link is not working...i REALLY want to try your fabulous mod, but i cant download it. a typical DNS error occurs.
 
I'm also having issues, I can't download the o.22A version thats on the first page because it comes up cannot find page.

although its possible the person who made the mod took it down temporarily until the new version is available.

also, does the download come in WinZip format or will I have to get the WinRAR thing? I think I got WinRAR some time ago for something else but forget where it is and not sure if its still on my comp. and is there any updated info guide or manual for the mod that I can download separately or just go look at the FAQ up top?
 
WinRAR would be your best bet. I think the FAQ up top is the only one so far. Basically check this thread or post questions here. I'm normally around... ;)
 
yea well, went through the whole thread, pretty interesting stuff. and you guys really need a more reliable file hosting place
