Challenging Fate
So, what happened yesterday?
So, we're on a boat, on our way to Norway. It was just Sven, Dliver, and I. Ahead of us is a snowy plain and a forest. I go to the forest, and the other two head for the plains. The two of them see nothing, while I meet a Norwegian sniper. I engage a conversation in Danish/Norwegian with him, and I try to claim I'm a tour guide. When he asks about weapons, I then say WWIII is going on, and we need to be prepared. The guy doesn't fall for my crap, and starts counting down before he fires. I then start talking about my patriotic duty to defend my country, and he stops the countdown. He now thinks I'm Norwegian, but I say I'm a Scandinavian brother in Denmark.
He thinks I'm new blood, and sends me to the secret base. He also orders 10 soldiers to kill the other two. Dliver and Sven kill them, and I go to the base. There, they ask me about the Titians. After trying to explain the Titans of Greece, he told me the base itself is called Titian, and he wants me to tell them what I know. After telling basic things that I knew were a fact (Built in Norway, one in a series of bases), he stops me and then asks me how I know the Boss. I bullcrap that I knew him from a coffee shop, and that he wanted to recruit me for something.
So, he takes me to see the Boss. We go out of the base and near a tree. Said tree is another secret base, obviously their R&D portion. I go inside. There, I see a guy in a white suit, who is the boss. At first I thought he would talk to me, but apparently I was supposed to go to him. This took a in-game minute before they told me to go up to him. As I walk like a baws to the boss, the doors to the outside explode.
I get crushed by rubble, so I have no idea what is going on. All I hear is gunfire, everything being destroyed, and dying Norwegians. I pry my head upward, and I see Elsa... and 12 US commandos. The later try to shoot me, but Elsa stops them. She then talked about her plan to undermine the SSD, and how my loyalty was being wasted and such. However, any progress Elsa may had made was ahttered when she dropped the anvil that Dale was now her employer
After more talking, she realizes that I will never turn sides. She starts to cry, and aims her gun at me. Sven and Dliver, however, just made it to my position and a fight happened. I killed off a US commando that was supposed to be a recrurring character. So, when all the commandos are killed, Elsa remains injured on the ground. I walk up to her and...
I medic her. I then try convincing her to give up this life and go home. She tries guilting me about what could had happened if we worked together, and she makes some remarks on Andropov. So now Sven wants to pop a bullet in Elsa's head, I'm trying to convince her to give up, and she's still trying to get me to join her.
