The Underdogs

Speaking of Kazhakstan: Hey kokturk, remember that time when you wouldn´t put out with Copper for petty reasons? Guess what, turns out Uranium was way more useful for me anyway!

Let this be an example for all those who dare defy me.

Yes, the inhabitants of Tashkent are literally radiating excitement!

Are you doing anything to help your master, or you kind of ready to break free using these misfortunes of the great Indian civilization?

Oh, of course we hate to see our benevolent overlord being stuck in such a brutal war. We intend to help in any way we can, but alas, we are not quite ready to send in our troops. And if that means we would join the war in the aftermath of some battle and we just happen to claim some lost Indian cities in Kenya's name... well that would just be a lucky coincidence. :mischief:

In more local news, Kenya begins to join the modern world with the completion of the necessary infrastructure to connect ourselves to the Internet.

it is not as bad as Chavez made it sound. our mighty people already started working on fixing fallout.
I just wander how you manged to nuke Tashkent when it is full of american, german and australian troops? shouldnt their presence prevent it?

Actually I nuked one of the tiles surrounding it, and obviously the city itself did not have any foreign troops in it. You are quite right in the respect that they prevented most tiles from being hit, and I would have nuked you a turn before if not for all of these tourists walking around.

WOW! Interesting developments, the first nuking between underdogs!

Too bad Kazackstans score didnt really go down all that significantly...

no news to report in Iraq, sent on.

Vassal no more !!! - @#$@#%@#% Imperialists can get out of Africa!!!

Oh my! Congo was not posting any news for a long time (if ever!). And now such a bold decision! Can we trust AI Europe to do something baaad?

Is it possible to raze cities in this mod? If so, I'm relatively certain from my last turn that Calcutta has been wiped from the face of the Earth, unless my map didn't update correctly because I only have vision on India and not China.

I'm pretty sure you can't raze cities in this version. But the space goes blank when they are taken over until you trade maps.

And now I can confirm that Calcutta does indeed still exist, its Chinese controlled.

integral part of my strategy for this game was self-researching cyber warfare and spamming viruses. and now, after investing all commerce and hammers of Kazakhstan into this I find out that viruses require Labaratory, and for some reason Research Institute (my UB) doesn count as one! so disappointed with this(

Tigranes, can we do something at this stage to fix this bug?

Wow, I had no idea about that. :( I don't think there can be any solution at this point. You still were the first Underdog to research anything -- and that helped your score go up considerably. No waste in that department, but of course I hear you...

Ouch yeah that sucks... so the soviet world can't make viruses??? Unfortunate bug, sorry man. At least you are #1 on the scoreboard and will probably win, so there's that.

Obama of the USA demanded sheep from me, hurting healthiness, then cancelled their gift of hit movies, angering Iraqis... I guess Obama is having a bad day :(

You can alway say no to Obama, like republicans do right now :)

New UN voting! Any human that will vote for Santos will receive gold regardless of outcome. Ten times their vote number. This does not boost my score and I will only use this power 2-3 times before the game ends. So I am doing this for fun (mostly).

There, I voted for you. Now gimme my money. It´s funny, Ban Ki-Moon asked me to switch to Universal Suffrage this turn and replied to my denial "On your own head be it". I´m so scared of his angry worded letters and non-binding resolutions, whatever shall I do?

I will fulfil all the obligations in the order of our play as soon as possible. Do not worry, Columbians are machos and take pride in holding their promises!
