lolwat In the same turn both Mexico and Libya demanded each 80 Gold tribute from me. I don´t know where they got the wrong impression that Venezuela is to be messed with from, but I laughed in their faces and demanded all their Gold in return. Neither gave it to me, but that´s just all the same to me. The Bolivarian Armed Forces are highly motivated and waiting. Unfortunately their equipment seems to be behind the times, as a South African Stealth Destroyer came literally out of nowhere and sunk the VS Chavez. Sigh, so many imperialist scumbags, so little time to kill them all. At least the Americans seem unusually cooperative and let a Special Ops team of ours shut down a secret Kazakhstan airfield in the Caribbean from which several strafing runs were conducted against units east of Ciudad Guayana.

Nothing like that showed up in my event log nor is it listed in the relationship status with Obama.

Maybe he just decided to attack me of his own volition.

Sigh, every single month someone just barges into my office and wants something from me. Russia is ready to make peace, I´m still thinking about it. And by that I mean I´m thinking about whether to take a city on his western or eastern coast. My Marines get impatient.

It could have been Global Warming considering the tile is desert, but I frankly don´t know which terrain it was before. It certainly wasn´t a terrorist as I´ve got a unit on it, which leaves the only other option to be a spy. Either way, I should have gotten a message. Meh, maybe I just overlooked it, the Event Log lists lots of new messages every turn.

With the amount of nuking done by China and, um, some other countries, Global Warming is probable regular BTS behaviour. But in out previous games it did not show so early...

Well, I originally planned to boast about how the glorious Bolivarian forces of Venezuela liberated Panama City from Columbian oppression, but my highly promoted Marines and Special Forces lost two consecutive >70% fights vs a wounded RPG Infantry, which is commonly referred to as "absolute ". So, yeah, here I stand after the most epic fail in military history since the charge of the light brigade. Not only did I not take a city, now I´m at war with my two direct neighbors, both more powerful than I and one of who has tactical Nukes.

Yeaaaaaah, I´ve seen better situations. :/ On the bright side I doubt anyone´s ever gonna accuse me of reloading to improve combat results again.

Why, why do you have to be such a pain? We had far bigger fishes to fry . Did our 10 turns espionage truce even expire? Plus you weren't even sure if Panama is a country, why invest your limited resources into confrontations when you could invest them into ... you know ... science?
