We are going to play with the ruleset of UkNES IV, but with a few changes.

Each player will be in charge of their own posts on the Nation's Thread. One of those posts will be where they will put their stats and orders, and the other will be the one where they will write newspapers that talk about the happenings of the game.

This game will happen in turns of 1 month game-time, and starts on January 2017.

Economy
Each nation's economy will depend on the following:
  • Territories controlled (each territory gives a quantity of credits (c) which is shown on the Nation's Thread).
  • Factories: one factory costs your current income plus 3c.
  • Raids: your Special Forces may manage to steal the Treasury of a Nation.
  • Random events.
Unit's cost a determined quantity of credits.

Army, Navy and Air Force

Your Army/Navy/Air Force is formed by a set of units whose cost and abilities depend on what they are. You don't need to pay upkeep for them.

You may separate your units in different armies/navies/air groups for better management. There is no penalty for changing or adding units to an army, although for that to happen units must be in the same territory before moving.

Land units can only move 1 territory per turn. Sea units can cross 1 ocean/sea per turn. Air units can cross 2 territories or 1 ocean/sea (going from one country to other, unless they are Naval Air Wings, in which case they can land on Carriers).

Each nation will have 1 special unit that will substitute a normal unit.

Combat will be either moderated by me.

Nuclear Bombs
There are two kinds of nuclear bombs: Tactical Nukes, which can only be launched from Nuclear Submarines or Bombers, and ICBMs, which can only be launched from ICBM Bunkers. When they hit a territory, each factory will have a 50% chance of surviving. The territory itself will have its income reduced by 1-3 credits if the nuke was a tactical one; and 1-5 credits if the nuke was an ICBM.

Land Units
  • Infantry Division (3c): 1/3. The basic infantry unit, with trucks and support units.
  • Mechanised Infantry Division (5c): 2/4. Better infantry unit, equipped with armoured personnel carriers. Include support units.
  • Armoured Division (7c): 4/1. The basic tank unit, with support units.
  • Artillery Division (3c): 1/1. Can bombard neighbouring nations (including when you're attacking them), and defend against air attacks. Includes support units.
  • Special Forces Division (10c): 3/3, can attack factories in secret missions (must be PMed to me), with a risk of being caught (nationality only revealed if caught). Includes support units.

Air Units
  • Fighter Squadron (7c): 2/4. Your basic fighter squadron, including support units.
  • Close Air Support Squadron (5c): 3 (4 L)/1. Provides air support to your land forces, and includes support units.
  • Naval Air Wing (10c): 3/3. Can be based on aircraft carriers or land. The only unit able to be based on aircraft carriers (the other air units must cross the ocean straight away, and can't land on carriers). Comes with support units.
  • Gunship Squadron (5c): 2/2. Your basic attack helicopter unit, supports land units or attacks targets. Comes with support units.
  • Bomber Squadron (12c): 1 (3 LS)/1. Your basic bomber squadron, comes with support units. Can carry 1 tactical nuke. Can bombard.
  • Stealth Bomber Squadron (15c): 1 (4 L)/1. Can only be hit by air units. Includes support units. Can carry 1 tactical nuke.
  • Stealth Fighter Squadron (10c): 3/4. Can only be hit by air units, and includes support units.
  • Aeroplane Transport Squadron (7c): 1/1. Can transport 3 divisions, and then move them using the air units movement rules. Includes support units.
  • Helicopter Transport Squadron (5c): 1/1. Can transport 1 division, moving the same as the aeroplane transport squadron. Includes support units.
  • Paratrooper (10c): 2/3. Can be dropped by an Aeroplane Transport Squadron over an enemy territory. 3 Paratroopers can go in a ATS.

Naval Units
  • Aircraft Carrier (25c): 1/3. Can be used a base by naval aircraft wings. Is empty to begin with. It can carry three naval aircraft wings.
  • Aegis Cruiser (15c): 2 (4 A)/3 (4 A). Can shoot down incoming missiles that may hit the fleet.
  • Destroyer (12c): 3/2 (3 A). Carries Tomahawk cruise missiles and Harpoons.
  • Frigate (10c): 1/3 (4 Sub)
  • Corvette (5c): 2/2.
  • Missile submarine (10c): 1/1. Can carry 2 tactical nukes (must be bought) and Tomahawk cruise missiles.
  • Attack submarine (5c): 3/3. Carries torpedoes and Harpoon anti-ship missiles.
  • Nuclear submarine (15c): 3/4. Can carry 1 tactical nuke (must be bought), Tomahawk cruise missiles, Harpoon anti-ship missiles and torpedoes.
  • Transport Fleet (10c): 2/2. Can carry 5 divisions. Includes support units.

Buildings
  • ICBM bunker (50c): Can hold and fire up to four ICBMs at a time (must be bought).
  • Anti-missile system (25c): Has a good chance of shooting down incoming ICBMs and tactical nukes in the province it is built.
  • Factory (Your income per turn + 3c): Factories cost what you make per turn (doesn't include banked money) and increase your income by 3c. You may have more than one per country.
  • Hospital (40c): For each 5 land units of the same kind you lose you recover 1, units at half strength may recover if they don't fight for 2 turns.

Strategic Weapons
  • Tactical nuke (10c): Can only be moved on units which can carry it. Can only hit countries next to the ocean that the submarine is in, or the one that the bomber drops it in.
  • ICBM (25c): Can hit any country in the world. Must be in an ICBM bunker.

Unique Units:
  • Brazil: EC725 Cougar (3c): 1/2. Replaces Helicopter Transport Squadron. Has removable armour to protect troops and can be fitted with machine guns, rocket launcher and radar.
  • China: Red Infantry (2c): 1/2. Replaces Infantry. Cheaper but not as well trained as normal Infantry is.
  • Germany:
  • Iraq: Insurgent (2c): 2/1. Replaces Infantry. Better at attacking, but suffers defending.
  • Russia: T-95 Armoured Division (5c): 4/2. Replaces Armoured Division. Cheaper and with better defences.
  • South African Union: Patria AMVII Leopard (6c): 3/4. Replaces Mechanized Infantry. More expensive but better at attacking.
  • Spain: Infantería Hispana (3c): 2/3. Replaces Infantry. Slightly better trained than normal Infantry.

What about your other NES?

We start with only 3x our normal income to start, so for you, 15c. After that, we get our normal income and the game begins. This means you overspent a little in your stats.

The United States of Southern Afria (USSA) is here to depose of fake democracies and install true democratic nation-states across africa!

Jason, post your newspaper so I can post my stats!

The Chairman of China is here to spread the revolution!

Oh oh! What about the unique units in the end? Do I get my Red Infantry for 2c?

Our UU: Patria AMVII Leopard
An Improved version of the Patria AMVII Badger, the Leopard works in groups of 7, called a Attack Squad, which includs ones with inbuilt mortars, small arms fire, radar/thermal imaging commander, and platoon carriors, and many squads of different specialties are in a single Division. The Carried Infantry, called commandos after the historic strike force of Africa in jeeps used to supress riots or border raids, are well trained and armed, a platoon ber attack sqad; and their faster, well built fighting machine give them an edge in any battle.

5c(6c?) 3/4, small artillary ability.

So how does someone join this? Just call a nation and write the recent history of it or what?

The UK is here and ready to rumble.
