The World Turned Upside Down II

I don't mind doing NPCs at all. Trust me, I'm used to it, and I play ever NPC like it was my own nation, each have their own agenda, without it, modding would be boring.

Vietnam is regretful for the sudden change of heart, but the deal must be scaled down to 8 destroyers and 2 battleships for a total of 9000M.

BTW Eq, how much of the Odgis-Ford Automotive Company is controlled by shareholders, and how much by a dominant central interest?

@neverwonagame: Doesnt really matter for gameplay concerns. You can make that bit up if you'd like, though most shareholders would be American or Liberian. Also, please note that your security forces are not allowed in the UFS, and are semi-connected to the Liberian Army.

O.K then. But it could be connected to gameplay concerns- if the company is under one controlling interest (or partially so), I'd like to sell shares to make a bit more short-term cash.

I did consider that issue when creating the ruleset, at the moment I'm not allowing for the selling of shares, just because it'd be a lot more effort for me. I've done my best to get the ruleset organized, and I had to make some cuts to make the updates possible in less than five hours. Stocks is one of the cuts I had to make. If you need to spend more than you have, spend into debt and pay it off, that's going to be our basic thing at the moment.

Borrowing is the same as for regular nations, the information is on the front page, though admittedly, not under corporation section.

im not sure im dedicated enough to truly play Brazi well, so because Brazil is a major power if someone wants it they can have it. i will play as Brazil until someone takes over

BTW, what are the security forces currently used for?

OOC: You might. Might not be dedicated enough. You need to put some thought and effort into this. This isn’t a game.

EDIT: well, technically, I guess it is. But more… exonerating than some RTSes.

Just, actually think about it, focus. Download Firefox. Or Google Chrome. Don’t use Internet Explorer.

To Lockheed:
From Turan Ummah:

We apologize for the inconvenience, but the deal is off.

@dld: well, in theory they could, it just would tank their credit rating rather quickly. Mostly because it'd be physically impossible (in NES and RL) for them to pay it back in a timely manner.

@never: securing operations in Liberia and preventing the Mexican slav...*cough*...volunteer workers from riots or revolt.

@condor: well, stick with it, you can still do it. If time is an issue, you may want to reconsider another nation. If you want recommendation, feef free to shoot me a PM.

We are sad to hear this but shall purchase the ships still. If you change your thinking, you know who to call.

From Odgis-Ford Automotive Company
To Liberia

We will pay you $5000 million per (however long a turn is) to have your military safeguard the company's operations in your country.

To Germania
From Italy:

At present time Italy will have to refuse such a generous offer. We have been in negotiations in creating a Mediterranean Economic Community for some time now.

To Greece, Andalusia, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya
From Italy:
We would like to officially invite you to sign the charter of Mediterranean Economic Community establishing an economic organization and free trade area between our respective nations.

To: Italy
From: Andalusia, Libya, Morocco, and Algeria

We are more than happy to agree to your economic proposal.

OK, in the end I have decided to join this NES as Andalusia (my home country here, hee!). I'll be posting a small story about the change of leaders in the country, meaning this is going to change gears soon... As for the Mediterranean Economic Community, I will happily re-sign the treaty so that it is clear that the change of leaders doesn't mean nothing at all for our relationships with our neighbours. May I suggest the creation of a cooperation sphere regarding scientific advancements? If not right now, perhaps in two or three years (turns) when our economies raise enough.

To: Greece
From: Germania

Although we know Italy has sent you overtures regarding their MEC, Germania would be privileged to enjoy Greece's position in the UEC. We aided in giving Greece their independence and we have always been firm supporters of the Greeks, and we'd like to see them work side by side with us.

To Italy, Andalusia, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Libya (Mediterranean Economic Community)
From Oslo-Bergen Petroleum

We are interested in expanding our business into your territories and hope the MEC framework will provide a positive environment in which investments from Entrepreneurs and Corporations such as ours will be welcomed.

While I can't talk for my companions and economic partners, Andalusia would readily open its arms to the OBP corporation. However, we must make clear that searching for oil in our country would be as difficult as finding some inhabitable land in Paris (OOC: sorry for this pitiful joke, but it was the only thing I could think of). In spite of this, we would be able to concede some terrains in which a refinery could be built.
