No, I don't mean nationalizing them but how would the nation/corporation relation work? How would corporations help my nation? How would I include them into my orders?

Well, corporations are completely independent of you, you can suggest courses for them to take, but they won't always do what you want.
My question is what does a nation stand to gain from having a corporation based in their nation?

Tangible gains I assume are just the 50,000M research point cost...considerably cheaper then the cost for RP for most nations.
I also assume doing business with corporations and them building things in your country helps with economic growth etc.
Yeah, if a corporation builds within your nation, that does make both their and your GDP increase.

How does the research work? I buy the points and choose a research to research and put the points there until it is paid off?
Seems like a long time to do it. Also, my story is not too different from what you wanted? Basically the corporation is owned by the Family with some shareholders, mainly relatives and close friends is what I am aiming at.

yeah, you buy the points with cash, then choose what you want to research or come up with a tech project on your own.

The orders I have received so far have been varied in their format, so here's what I'll do. Following this update, I'll take censored versions of orders and place them under a "Sample Order" section for each type of nation in the rules. This way there will be a good guide for how I like them arranged based on what I've seen.
