You know, on the internet you come across a lot of forums and a lot of opinions. After you post here for a while, and see such quality post leaving and posting somewhere else can be jarring. When a forum is set to public and anyone can come in and post, you get all sorts of nonsense touched upon. However I must say that the quality of the post, topics and moderation on Civfanatics Off Topic board is simply a 10 out of 10.


This is not a troll or satire thread, I mean it gentlemen we've got something special here.

I noticed this myself. I was introduced to this forum about 3 months ago, and I have been impressed time and time again by the largely consistent manners of members and vast ranges of knowledge and vocabulary. Compared to other forums I am a part of, the troll count is extremely low.

That is true, the CFC OT is at least an order of magnitude better than the OT on paradoxplaza. Though the old Victoria 1 forums were also really good, exceptionally nice to new players, possibly because everyone saw themselves in them. "I have been in that position".
