This IS a Conservative C2C MP game Thunderbrd! :p

Spirictum next.

I have not noticed a problem with hats.

Turn Done, Magnus is up

Anyone else seeing Spirictum's problem with Hats?

I am not.

And Spirictum is the Only non native english language player in this game.

My CIV is in english, but my OS is in portuguese. Maybe its indeed something related to that, but it would be good to check if others have the same issue.

I had not noticed a new problem with hats - because it has been the same ever since I started playing C2C, a few years ago.

You do not see an Icon in resources list and the description is a much larger font. I thought you were referring to a new problem. There are lots of other resources that behave the same way.

My experience with C2C is as small as the one of a newcomer from a few months ago (not my CIV experience, before people think I'm trying to fool anyone). I unfortunately didn't have much time to explore the game in single player, so most of my knowledge comes from those MPs we've been playing together. As the Massive MP Game is in an old version, I usually ignore anything I see there that might be worth noting. So that's why I brought this here and it seems new to me.

Your description fits perfectly into what occurred here. This smells like gibberish text left unnoticed, or a typo, somewhere between the XML description and the CIV's GUI that combined with something else changes font/size instead of what it was supposed to do. It's probably in the XML, but may be in Python (as far as I remember we change the GUI in python right?).

But OTOH, Joseph says he doesn't experience this, so something else might be the cause.

I need to double check that Spirictum. I thought you were talking about another place instead of the resource list in the city screen. I rarely use that screen anymore because when you go to build a resource giving building the hover over in game tells you how many you have already. So that screen is kind of redundant for me.

Actually, it wasn't in the city screen, it was the hover tooltip when passing the cursor over the building in the buildings' list of a city.

Next time I play I'll take a screenshot.

It's the icon being bad I believe, as DH explained happens with other resources. It's not a critical problem but we should be generating a list of those that aren't working properly somewhere so they can be taken a look into at some point to see why they aren't working. The font files can be touchy with a few things.

Sorry, I missed that with all the discussion about Hats. I am now noticing that with hats as well (it even happens in the Sevropedia). In the Resources tab in City Screen, Woodwind Instruments has no icon and text is larger size.
