I seldom buy new PC games, but playing Civ for nearly 15 years, this was a game I really looked forward to and paid good money for. Not too fast, though, being smart I waited for the first patches. Bought, installed, patched.

Pretty much unplayable. Can't find disc, <broken> up graphics, freezes.

I can't return the > 50$ game, couse the package is broken. Yo, Firaxis, how do I get me money back?

Oh yes, this is "Technical Support" -- well then, how to I get about to play da game?

Can you tell us a few more details about the problems? Can't find disk, yet obviously if you see teh game and it freezes, have you solved that problem?

What video card do you have? Have you got the latest drivers for it? How much RAM do you have? What is your processor?

Ainwood makes a good point here

All you have said is that you can't the game, you haven't told us what your system specs are or anything...if you told us that, people around here might be able to help you with your problem.

Ii had a lot of problems myself when I bought the game but thaks to the tech support forum and the 1.9 patch my problems are gone.

If you want a refund, all you have to do is take the game back to the store and tell them it didn't install. According to the warranty on the 2k games site, you may return the product to the retailer for a refund (or exchange) if the game fails to install. I did this with Best Buy (and we all know what nazis they are about people returning software), and they accepted the return after checking 2k's site for the warranty. The guy working was surprised, but he agreed that that's what the warranty said. I did this after getting the black terrain bug (though I may go buy it again now that the patch is out). ;)
