This is historically incorrect!

now she is hot, but have any of you noticed how all the leaders have the same type of facial expressions? they should add some variety.. have Isabella winking, blowing kisses... but seriously, leaders should have different type of expressions...

anyhow, here is animation of Isabella

http://www.civfanatics.com/civ3images/animations/Isabella.mpg

for the best effect, full screen the media player window when playing his animation... pause it at the end...
take a look... his nose is broken, has scars, terrible teeth, he actually looks sick, like something is wrong with him, dying of some disease...

honestly I haven't seen any leader made out as hideous as this one.... again I know he wasn't a saint, but this is too much of an exageration... if Firaxis animation guys/girls are going to use their imagination, then also use it on some other leaders ;)

man hes so ugly!
its looks like he is punched in the head .
change his looks or you will scare me away:eek:
i can already see it when i first meet ghengis.many civ3players will have heartattacks...

CUTE ? I thought it was a icture out of a medicinal encyclopedia, under the paragraph "Strabism"...

And at least Gengis Khan looks real. After all, he's one big mean killing machine

Guess the mongols won't be Religious and Scientific :)

Maybe we can talk them into replacing Genghis with the Michelin Man. That'd be something different. Anyone else got ideas for completely useless leaderheads?

all I am saying is give the man a face lift.. start with a light beard, mustache... and while your at it, give Joan of Arc breast implants :D

Sorry I hadn't noticed this post earlier, teturkhan. I upgraded Joan months ago:

I'm impressed... Someone apparently located in Oklahoma knows about the Michelin Man ? I thought we burned every image a long time ago (it scared our commercial partners)

Pic didn't post

Hey, watch it! I love the Michelin man. I got michelin tires on my Ford Explorer....

sniff, making fun of my michelins.....

All hail, Bibendum, leader of the great Rubberneck civilization!

Wow, when I first saw the still picture I thought it was the picture that it shows for a leader of a dead civ after a victory. I really shocked me when I saw the animated one. Then again, at least he does not look like that throughout the whole animation.

My first impression was that Genghis was modelled on a constipated Klingon, with a Ferengi's teeth.

Not a pretty sight.

Nah, Klingons look meaner. GK doesn't look mean, just UGLY. Not quite Cabbage Patch Kids ugly though.

I think the best looking one is Hammurabi, with its superior am-I-not-cool-or-what attitude. Too bad I pick them a lot, I don't get to see me...
And Cleopatra is a lot nicer than Joan, IMHO.

You guys are freakin hilarious! way too funny
seriously though, I believe the picture of Genghis Khan was based on his reputation more than anything else...

on a lighter note I must say Genghisfarb you did a nice job on Joan - :crazyeye:
can you do the same for Isabella :D

Sorry to borrow this phrase from Zouave, but "fix it Firaxis!" :crazyeye:

Emperor of the glorious Mongol Empire should not look like a rogue.

My suggestions for Genghis Khan's Face Lift:

• First give the him a light beard and mustache, he is not Native American.
• His nose should not be flat and wide, Central Asians usually have more protruding nose – refer to the portraits.
• Get rid of all his facial blemishes, no other leader is riddled with huge moles, scars or anything close to what has been given to Khan.
• He is known to wear a ring in his right ear.

I know it plays well to have Genghis Khan ugly and horrible looking, but it is not historically accurate and should be changed.
