This is historically incorrect!

Sometimes you folks crack me up....Civ3 is historically inaccurate?..you bet it is!!

Would you like to have the Zulus eat the bodies of their victims...they were cannibals!! Heck...lots of cannibals still exist in Africa. Or how about the Japanese....want them to be historically accurate and torture and murder all the Chinese and US prisoners. And those wonderful Aztecs...let's have them cut the live beating hearts out of their prisoners....

Civ3 treats all these historical terrorists way too nicely....if they want to make Ghengis Khan look like th cruel barbarian he was..more power to them.

I don't know about ancient Zulus, but there are no cannibals in Africa. In fact, most of the knowledge we have of so-called cannibals are grossly over-exagerrated "facts" of a misguided anthropology.

Teturkhan. I have to agree with you here. It is inaccurate. Look at modern Mongols as a referrence. Besides, Genghis Khan probably sports a beard - beards being a mark of masculinity and all. Also, the skin texture looks too dark.

I am disappointed with Firaxis. Very much so. :(

You know, now that I've looked at him again he kinda looks like an animated corpse. Zombie Genghis!

Has anyone made figure head for Genghis Khan?
What happened to implants for Isabella? :D

You know what would be so cool, is to design some animation along with more provocative lines... Rated R Version Diplomacy, more violence, vulgarity, sex bribes etc… keep it real of course, based along lines of their actual personality :D

on a different note - you don't think Isabella is nice? Probably the best one in the game, what would you prefer Catherine the Great?

Apparently, someone has put me on their ignore list......

Play the World and the "Mongols" haven't been released yet...maybe they will put 20,000 VOLTS through Ghenghis's image to bring it back from the dead.

Hey! It didn't even take that to revive this thread!

Some topics and subjects are like leftover tuna in the trash can.

They tend to take on a life of their own and keep sending stinky reminders back from the dead until you actually empty the can and then wash it out with bleach water. ;) :crazyeye: :crazyeye:

This thought process also extends to the people that put stinky tuna in the can. It's hard to get that smell off your hands and it seems that these same people may be prone to repeating the process with old fruit, leftover lasgna, chicken skin, and scraps of information (oops, I mean leftover food.)

Actually, the Aztecs were not cannibals (except partially during religious ceremonies). They got most of their protein from insects.

As for realism, I wanted Civ 3 to be a step forward from Civ 2, not a backwards step. Which is what it is.

Whats wrong with Tuna?
High in Protein, low in fat - what else could you ask for?

I think this is a very dynamic thread, almost as stimulating as Message to Firaxis - serious :D

"kiss my ass sucker Civ 3 owns you" ? ..... okay.. moving right along...
