This was posted on Steam yesterday, would it have a little bit of truth?

"Confirmed". Even though there are pretty strong indications that the text they found in that file was referencing a Civ that they will add in the NFP, there isn't 100% certainty. It might have been just an example using a random Civ/leader name, or even something they are design for a possible second pass. I do think Vietnam and Kublai Khan are in the NFP, but I wouldn't go as far as saying it's confirmed, since there are still reasons to have doubts. Weak reasons, but reasons nonetheless.

would it be possible or would that be just speculation?

They are part of a post on the steam forum in Portuguese, and I decided to share to find out if there is a possibility or a real background in this.

Do you have a picture of the post and where would they get the info? Because those are pretty much the civs that everyone has been speculating will get in so if it is a leak, it's a pretty safe and plausible one. Vietnam and Kublai were actually found in the files and the fact that they don't list whether it's actually Babylon or Assyria, or which Native American tribe makes it seem sketchy.

It looks to me more like a list of what he's expecting, aside from the Vietnam/Kublai Khan leak (though that he'll lead Mongolia and China is still speculation at this point). It's a safe bet, though. If it were a genuine leak he'd tell us which of Babylon or Assyria; there is no chance they're still debating that at this late point in development.

This list is basically what almost everyone has been waiting for, I don't think it's a leak. Also, I think at this point they have already decided on whom to include between Babylon and Assyria .

I found the thread in English. The person did say he got the info from the infamous GS leaker, of course that leaker hypothetically made all those predictions already.

lol this is almost word-for-word identical to the post made on this board. The only difference is implying the NA civ is navajo, and the leaks of vietnam/kublai.

Yeah this isn't a leak. It's just someone reviving Assembling Typhoon's "leak" from over a year ago, which had the same specific ambiguities (Babylon/Assyria, some NA civ).

Feels dishonest for the person to make a thread on steam pretending it was all new information, without citing any of their sources until they were questioned about it. ****ing children.
