Yes, of course it is. Though we are more criticising their focus upon religion as a central guiding principle in their foriegn policy. We do not base our decisions so heavily upon relgion, and to us, religion is subservient to the state, and not the other way around.

Furthermore, it isn't anymore hypocritical than the Austrians calling us out because what we are going to do is not in the will of the people.

I would like to note that I still held out my hand in friendship to the heretics in Ireland, and talked about accomplishing God's will alongside them, which is not exactly the view of the Pope. I was merely going through the motions of respect for the figurehead of my religion. I don't think its out of place, or attributing really any power to him at all.

We will only agree to the terms already stated by the Leonese Empire. We will not allow Austrian or Papal domination of Naples, nor shall we allow further negociation on the matter. Either we are given Naples and pay the required amount as per the treaty, or we forcibly act to remove Papal influence from Naples. We shall not allow complete Austrian domination over the Italian peninsula nor shall we tolerate any further attempts to try and secure such. Any further Austrian protests will be ignored. If Leon recinds upon its agreement, then we will be forced to recind our recognization of Leon's claims to the Aragonese throne, and indeed, counter such claims.
