Top and Bottom Tier Civs

Wow, that's pretty accurate!
I disagree.
Morocco gets +1 to every yield in capital for every unique trade partner, scaling with era. In industrial age, you can have easily 10 trade routes to CS and other civs will probably send theirs to you, cause trade routes to Morocco didn't get hit by distance penalty. If only 4 foreign civs send trade units to you, that would make 14 yields of each type, scaling with era.
To reach that, Germany would need to have 7 CS allies which is close to half the CS which are in a normal standard game.
Ottoman can get 150 science (+150 food) or 150 culture (and gold) in 25 turns with their trade units, effectively giving 6 science/culture per turn, scaling with era.

Germany got nerfed by 33% less yields and votes by CS alliances and 40% less production modifier on Hanse.

I mean, having everyone against late game Germany is pretty accurate with what happened in real life. So it was a good design if that were the case.

Iam fine with this explanation, if:
  • Half of Rome fall into a dark age as CS while the other half is transformed to Byzanz
  • Maya, Inka and Aztecs lose 90% of their population in cities if they meet an European civilization
  • Poland automatically lose half their territory, if it gets a war declaration of Germany or Russia
  • France is always at war with England and France lose its leader and UA, if the happiness gets below 90%
And I thought it's a game to rewrite history. :mischief:

Being late game monster is fine the problem is it's not fun to play that way.

I want my Germany to be a fun civ to play!

All its advantages gets cut by 30-40%. Germany is strong in the lategame, but it was hard nerfed, diplomatic units are more expensive and the AI better at pillaging trade routes and spamming diplomats. Germany isnt anymore THAT Monster in lategame.

And WHY do they have several hundreds of influence points? Cause diplomats and missions give more influence. If diplomats and mission would always only give 30-50 influence, you wouldnt have to face 1000 influence CS and the "+1 influence per turn" policy from statecraft wouldnt be useless.

They have hundreds of influence points due to quests mostly.

Hey if anyone wants to work together on my idea let me know.

A Germany through the ages one like my Rome mod soon to be uploaded...
