You could look at 1453 and the siege of Constantinople, insane amount of sources from both sides for this. Also many are translated.

I mean, do you want to say something at least semi-new or do you not really care cause you're an undergrad and revisiting basic Egyptian history isn't really problematic?

First Battle if you want to examine the successes and limitations of the Ottoman Empire at its strongest, Second Battle if you want to examine resurgent Ottoman ambition after years of stagnation and Ottoman limitation in an age of emerging Western powers.

Or you could do a comparison and do both.

The great thing about writing about something as obscure as that is that, so long as you reference everything correctly, it's next to impossible for a professor to actually mark you down due to incorrect argumentation. They won't have a clue what the hell you're talking about.
