GERMANY

In the Begining, Germany was born from its forests and hills. People gathered together. Unified by language, culture and a single idea, they exapanded from their Origins in Berlin to the Rhine river. They were to expand further, but other nations would make this a limited one. They were happy with the land they took and began to farm it. The nation encoutered other peoples. To the north lied the vikings, future conflict was expected w/ them, so to avoid it embassadors were sent to talk about borders. The people in the east wanted to settle in Denmark, and this was ok to Germany, altough if our settlers made it first, we would not move them.
It was a good start for this small and insignificant state.

ORDERS to be PMd.

(i can pm them right?)

Jason The King said:
NEW RULE:

When you increase two things (at the expense of an economy) it cannot be of the same stat. So you cannot increase army (or navy, etc) twice in one turn. This is basically so we dont have a Gigantic army in two turns, lol.

I want to update today...by five or so.

But I should still have a growing economy ;). No problem, I can jsut act as if I had one, and you change it with the update!

The night was dark and forboding over the countryside of southern Britain. In the fields of Wiltshire, a lone fire broke the darkness, the dancing light of its flame illuminating the great stones of the Giant's Ring.

The druids sat among the stones, chanting prayers and incantations in their secret tongue. They were cloaked in black wool, silver hanging about their necks, beads and talismans clenched in their hands.

Two druids led a bull into the sacred circle. The chanting grew louder and stronger as the men and beast approached, until finally the three figures reached the sacred ritual altar at the center of the circle. The chanting built to a loud and frenzied climax and suddenly ceased.

The whole of southern Britain fell silent. Not a sound was heard.

The druids resumed chanting, quietly, as the high priest recited the ritual dedications. In the secret language of the Druids he prayed to the pagan gods of Britain, thanking them for victory over the invading Normans, and for the bounty of wool, and asking for strength to continue growing and thriving. As the chief druid offered more and more thanks to the gods, and prayed for more and more blessings, the chanting of the others grew louder, and more ominous; and all the while the second of the druids who had led the beast was sharpening his sickle-shaped blade against a small black stone. The chanting again began building, louder and louder, stronger and stronger, fiercer and more frenzied, terrifying to all those who did not understand the sacred rites of the druids. The man with the sickle-blade walked the bull forward, into the exact center of the stone circle, and when the chanting had again reached its deafening, terrifying climax, the druid took forth his sickle-blade and cut the beast's throat.

And silence fell over southern Britain.

The chief Druid recited another prayer, offering the bull as a sacrifice to the gods, in gratitude for their benevolence.

And so the chanting and rituals continued until the sun rose above the horizon of the Kingdom of the Britons. And by that sunrise, the druids were gone, and the great and mysterious cirlce lay empty.
