Roddina Orders
grow army size
spend one econ to upgrade navy tech (to bronze i guess)

army to hold current borders. most of it concentrated in the little bit that's spliting viking army off from viking lands.
navy to guard my shore on the baltic from naval attacks.

i'm still counting on most of the viking army starving in the lands they had pillaged and burned when they invaded it.

OOC: As far as i can tell, ya need to spend a whole economy to upgrade one branch of armed forces? Or am i mistaken?

Anyways:

-------

Zulu (zu-lu) n. Person of Southern Africa, member of Zulu Empire. Feared by many local tribes, with a mythic tint. Though these people have been not discovered by civilized nations, stories tell of them to be over 6 feet tall on average with a disregard for any who are not them. Avoid if possible.

-Journeyman's Guide to the World Jerioch de Philepe, p. Paris, France

The Dark Ones came, murdered and pillaged. I was sole survivor, for some time i lived with the Dark Ones. They treated me as a pet, not even a real person.

-excerpt from Kenyan survivor's tale to a Kush general.

We the Zulu people are the only real ones, no one else truely exists. They are not really people, but pets and game. They are no more than wild animals, ripe for taming or slaughter, though good for a hunt, these creatures can never be allowed to live without our care. Perhaps for a time we can ally or maybe in some dark, unforseen future pretend to live under them, but it will always remain that we are superior and our destiny to tame these creatures will never be denied.

-Orders-

Upgrade army to Copper Age
grow education (if both can be done with one economy)

To the Babylonian King
From the Caliph of Arabia

We consider this war to be a waste of good men who should be brothers. Thus we give you a proposal. Babylon can no longer sustain itself. However we will be willing to name the Babylonian Royal family as the nobles of Ur, the leader of which will hold the title the Duke of Ur. Futhermore we ask that a Babylonian princess marries the Arabian Crown Prince so that Babylon will have some power in a new land. Will the city of Ur agree to join our Caliphate or will it be destroyed by our armies?

Orders
Spend the needed economy upgrading the army and navy to the new technology levels
If Babylonians do not agree to above proposal destroy Ur, capture it and raze it to the ground enslaving the populace plundering the Babylonian gold reserves and taking their weapons to arm our men, if they agree, welcome Ur, have the economic reserves of the Babylonians added to our own and try to convince numerous Babylonian soldiers and sailors to join the new Caliphate's armed forces (they should if their King joins us)

Egypt

Peace still ruled the valleys along the nile. Ta-She-Rameses had been finished and more and more philosophs and inventors were meeting there, discussing and philophising. The Pharoah keeped a friendly eye on them, not with guards, but with regular visits. Additionaly some of those wises were his most loyal agents. They sent their reports to the Pharaoh and he deceided what to do. However not everything was nice and quiet. In the barracks of Egypt soldiers trained new tactics and formations. They had been equiped with the new material, chopper was it called, and now their weapons were sharper then ever. Rumours talked about a new war. Who the victim would be, was unknown to most...

Orders:

-use one economy to:
-upgarde army to chopper age
-grow education

-use the army to protect the borders
-let them use their time for training

France

ok, I better do them now before I forget.

Orders
-expand african colony, come into contact with Carthage and express wishes for peace
-increase economy

forgot about some diplo:

From: Egypt
To: Kush

Friends to the south. We offer you a NAP for 5 turns and a trade agreement! May our future be peacefull and productive ;).

Jason The King said:
sheep: Duke of Ur? Your Arabia, not England, lol.

Roddy: you may go from stone-bronze in one upgrade.

Eq: you are correct.

Well I didnt know the Arabic version of Duke, so just assume I meant that alright!!!

From: Egypt
To: Kush

An excellent idea! However it might be more usefull if we would try to influence this indirectly, for example by improving our ports, so that more ships can dock.

Okay, I had Graduation/Gradnight last night, today and tonight I had to hang out with my best friend cus hes leaving tomorrow for college and i wont see him for years, and im going to church with him tomorrow and then to work. Update looks to be good on Monday. Not that anyone seems to care.

if by "not that anyone seems to care" you mean "since noone has asked, 'when's the update?'" then i'll make sure to start asking.
jason, you seem down some how. some of your posts seem to show a very pessimistic outlook, which i find strange comming from you. you not happy about graduating or something? life got you down? or am i just misreading this stuff.

Wow, I didn't know you could read feelings, lol.

Its true tho, I've been stressed about school, and not to mention how sad I am to graduate. I really didn't want to, I liked highschool, and I am going to miss all of my friends. Shoot, I was the only guy crying at the graduation, lol.

There's the answer roddy, lol.

grad night was jolly good fun for me, though i admit i am more than happy to leave those damn idiots and pricks well behind me. well, each to his own. Anyways if you dont update i may have to get angry. You wouldnt like me when i'm angry.

To: Ottomani Empire
From: Hellas

After this update, whatever happens, we'd like peace. Our nations have been fighting for centuries now, and it's time to move on and stop the senseless violence. We propose a cease-fire and the maintaining of the same borders as they will be after the update, no matter where they are. It's just time to end this.

I thought I sent orders!? Hmmm, I'll take China Roddy! But y'know I'll take the three economy levels and stuff like that if you really thought it was reasonable and would go with it.

Update 8

The French expand their colony in Africa, reaping from the benefits of plundering rich African tribes and selling the people into slavery.

Fighting intensifies in the Balkans. The Ottomans are intent on revenge for the sneak attack, and follow the Hellans into the Balkans, where the Ottomans are welcome home to burnt villages and killed families. In revenge, the Ottomans do the same against Hellan villages they capture. All Hellans in the Ottoman empire are rounded up and put inot pow camps.

Meanwhile, Hellan soldiers make a landing in Anatolia, taking key beaches and cities, but advancing no further. Both armies meet less then an eighth of the opposing armies, and so there are little losses.

The Kush are surprised attacked from the south, where Zulu soldiers storm the border patrols and pursue a fleeing Ku****e army across the desert. The Zulu make rapid advances, conquering and burning everything in their way. Only the northern half remains in Ku****e hands, and the Kush beg upon their Egyptian allies for aid. (-1 Kush army).

The Vikings are able to evacuate most of their army aboard ships that slip past Khaeven blockades, but some are still sandwhiched and destroyed by the Khaevens (-1 army). Meanwhile, the Vikings remain in position near its Finn territory, and let the Khaevens in Sweden continue to advance, basically unopposed. The Roddyinians remain where they are, not advancing, just holding the territory.

The Babylonians refuse to give into the Arabian demands, and so the Arabians are forced to destroy the city of Ur, and thus the nation of Babylonia ceases to exist. (+ economy).

And the map.
