Should we keep Trails?

(somewhat OT) I generally go for builder-oriented playstyle, don't take Commando if I ever get Combat up that high. Do see maybe a few AI units with it though. If the problem is that the "use enemy roads and one extra free strike chance" isn't enough to warrant a promotion slot, maybe either make it automatic if your leader has raider trait and you get combat to a specific level, or give it a chance to automatically pillage a nearby enemy-controlled improvement upon pillage of what the unit is on? Sorry if this is too OT for the trails thing, but it seems that half the no votes say that they don't see commando enough to warrant an anti-commando road.

hum, 69% yes up to now. :)

I'll see whether we can make it slightly clearer.

Update on Caravan Routes (which are related to trails, so it's not completely off topic) - Thanks to an idea by Sephi, these are completely gone. Instead the Malakim no longer need routes. That's right, trade directly over desert. Routes in Malakim Desert will fade over time, instead of becoming Caravan Routes. ;)

My cents:
The trails pictured in the reskin are still hard for me to see. I typically play more zoomed out than in the image. If Sylvain could try adding a slight orange shade (possibly only on one edge?) it might create a good guideline while also representing swampland earth effectively. I do use commando and I think trails should stay.

Looks like trails will be left in, then.

I can apply a simple colorize filter to the trail edges to make them darker, I'll post screenies later when I have time to do it. ;)

Noticed while testing the Malakim (No more roads for them in desert) that my PromotionBuilds don't work for routes.... Unfortunately, nothing I do in canBuildRoute is allowing me the capability, and I'm not sure why. Will work on it again later, but for now routes can not be added via promotion.

I agree with this. The Raider trait become pretty crappy when it lost Commando, I wouldn't mind seeing it get it back.
