That the Civ leader animations are neither realistic enough to appear lifelike, nor cartoony enough to appear cartoony. They're this weird in-between half-realistic/half-cartoony look.
- CS placing units around it's city preventing you from doing that quest in the first place
While I agree with most other comments, especially Bismarck, the CS actually builds a road from its city towards you (within its own borders), so you just need to connect to that road. Now if only Firaxis would've fixed the quest...![]()

There's a clickable "close" button on the top-right of the civilopedia window. But, really, it's a very dumb design to have the close button in a different place on every window in the game.
- no regenerate map function, very annoying
- no ancient ruins in non-ancient starts, which is ironic as they would make more sense in those starts as "ancient ruins" ;-)
- Path seeking of units through city states thus destroying influence...
