[TSL] Yet (not) Another Earth Maps Pack

Weird. I'm assuming the civ just doesn't show up in the selection screen. I'll try testing it on my setup within the hour and report back.

Yes exactly, I cant pick those civs in the ynaempsetup.
If its just me im sry that I wasted your time with my lacking pc knowledge

It seems I'm experiencing the same.
I don't know what's causing it, but maybe it would help clearing your cache(?). I don't have time to test it myself right now unfortunately.

That doesnt fix it, has something to do with the map itself.
All JFD mods work by default.

You might be right. It's just weird - the map is my creation, and I successfully incorporated into YnAEMP before JFD's patch and added all the TSL values for the official civs along with a whole bunch of custom civs. And that worked perfectly.

I've been having some problems getting it to work. I have the latest version, and as far as I know all the mods are compatible.

Here's an imgur album that might explain my problems a little more clearly
http://imgur.com/a/uGP7U.

Anyone know what's going on?

It seems to be working without any mods enabled. Now I guess I just have to go through one by one until I find what's causing it. Thanks for the help.

*edit*

Yep, looks like it was the Gauls. Damn shame, I was looking forward to them.

Another update to the YnAEMP Huge Earth map from Janboruta:

  • Added missing TSL values for various City-States, and adjusted TSL for Brazil, Germany, Aztecs, and Songhai
  • Added atolls to Rapa Nui so they're not so sad.
  • changed Grassland around Caral to Plains for a more rugged start
  • adjusted continent association for some tiles
  • Enlarged Rapa Nui
  • Separated New Zealander islands
  • Added a few more rivers and tributaries
  • Enhanced starting positions for some civs like the Zulu
  • Minor tile adjustments

Download

I didn't get the Rapa nui part...

One suggestion for the requested resources for civs. Arabia (and possibly some other middle eastern civs, but definitely Arabia) should have oil.

EDIT: Also, Morocco should have horses for their UU.

Isn't this the case already? At least with Arabia.. Maybe I'm mistaken.. [emoji14]

Regarding other custom Middle Eastern civs, that's up to the respective authors of those civs to include it as part their YnAEMP support I think..

I may be repeating a previously asked question, but is it possible to play this map with ALL 38 Civs? If so, how do I do?

Thanks.

I know that people like playing this mod with about... 60 civs in game.:)
You simply add more AIs.

Now, my own question: why is it possible to found cities in less then 4 tile distance with YNAEMP?

There's multiple mods that allows one to do this on the steam workshop: both some that increases and some that decreases the minimum distance between cities. They work with YnAEMP. :)

I have been trying to use this mod for a while and no mater what I do it doesn't seem to use the TSLs. I don't know if it's because I had to manually extract the mod, but based on the instructions on the top of this thread everything appears to be in the right place.

Are you trying to load the map in a normal set up ?

You need to click on "custom game" and then load the YnAEMP thing, after enabling your mods.

If you're already doing that, then I don't know.
