I have two small problems using this map set I couldn't find an answer for.
I use Huge Earth as my map.
1. Civs that are too close to another never settle even if there are suitable spots nearby as their settler never moves from the starting position. I reduced min city range to 2 but as some civs only have one space between them (France/Netherlands or Rome/Venice) one of them is always stuck when both spawn. Is this normal? Any way around it?
2. Sometimes I would like to go for random start positions. "Restart Game" gives me a random start position but has no resources spawn and there seems to be no option to do this otherwise.
Is the mid-U.S. meant to be filled with wine and truffles? I'm not really asking in a complaint sort of way, but a "did I break it" way. I do have the geographic resource option checked.
Does anyone else play this with the Community Patch/Balance Patch? When I play it with 22 civs, I get no barbarians anywhere on the map. With 21 civs, they come back.
Are you using the 43 civ DLL? The total number of Civs + city states can't exceed 63, so if you've got 43 Civs you're only able to have a max of 20 city states
k i got the 63 civ thing.but i have another problem, whenever i try to use the ynaemp,it wont even let me set up my game[set how civs, etc].it just says unknown number of players.
Try hitting 'reset settings' (or whatever it's called) at the bottom of the screen whilst in Game Setup. That often works for people for various issues.
I have customized mod Uploaded by Guerra09 for selecting which city states I wont in the game, and it works with every on every map except YnAEMP Giant Earth. It crashes on loading screen.
Does anyone knows what is needed to be edited to make it compatible with YnAEMP maps?
Here is the customized mod in this post.
nope that did not work.i found out that this does not work with the cbp.when i tried without it it works. but with it it wont let me setup my game.it just says unknown number of players and it wont let me add more players, select civ, etc.
