I've started to play turn 61.

Just a question Ankka: When did we start training our soldiers to throw Ankkas? :p

The Domestic Screen:

I built our new city and called it Cheetahpolis. As we then saw more into the fog, I sent the Ankka Throwers to look for barbarians in the hills.

I pumped science back up to 90% and we're getting Writing next turn! :D
I hope 45 Gold is enough to establish an embassy with C3B. Are there any opposition to that?

I also had to MM Fanatazuma a bit to avoid a riot. The Settler only needed 9 more shields, but for all my efforts I was only able to dig up 8. Therefore I moved laborers from the forest to the tobacco, so we get more commerce and food and less shields. Settler still anticipated in 2 turns.

Histograph Power:

Even though Ankka predicted that we would gain on C3Bs population lead this turn, I'm sorry to say that hasn't happened. C3B probably had some population coming as well.

We now have 2% of world population, while C3B has 4%! In land area we have 18% while C3B has 20%. :(

A look at the histograph tells the same story, now they're only 8 points behind us:

Demographics tells the same. We're fourth in a lot of impoartant areas. I suspect that the fifth place is held by a team that is being pummeld by two other teams on the other continent...

Here is a map of our mainland. Cheetahpolis is working on the Ivory tile that is being mined now, since TF can't increase it's production from it yet.

I believe that the barbs are hiding in the hills northeast of Thunder Falls, and I've sent some soldiers to find them and throw Ankka at them. :D
I suggest we don't burn their camp though, and try to enslave as many barbs as possible.

Since I saw that the unit wasn't renamed and I thouhgt it should be. :p

Our island, yet without any name. I guess this is all we'll know about it untill we land troops on it.

It would probably enjoy the Naval Minister or what his title was, that I've remembered to rename our boats now. Should we start naming the rest of our units as well (like the Ankka Thrower :p )? :)

You can also see the scoreboard here. We're still third, but C3B is only 8 points behind us. CGN is doing mightily well though.

I do hope you mean the opposite.

Looks like they did gain a little population, land didn't change...

So... Ryttylä will build settler after the warrior, right?

Settler from Fanatazuma... how about another JT after that, or another settler?

I second the idea of trying to enslave as many barbs as possible. And also it's more effective to defend than attack on a hill.

One reason for our low score and population might be the fact that we didn't have any food bonus' near our start. And now as we found some, the city is so corrupt it won't produce enough sjields to be an effective settler factory.

Both curraghs should explore North, on different sides of the continent.

Where should our next city be?

-> Straight West or so from TF or in between Fanatazuma and Zoi, in the cultural gap? Or the canal city?

Just double checked, and what I posted is correct. We actualy had 17% of world area before we built the new city.

Oops! I meant, we have 2% of world area, and they have 4%. Population is 18% for us and 20% for C3B. Sorry for that one Ankka.
This means we had 17% of world population before we built the new city.
Really sorry about that confusion. Did everyone get it?

I also went back to 1625 BC to get some statistics for our score difference:
Code:
CFC - C3B Diff
179 - 172 7
178 - 166 12
176 - 161 15
173 - 157 16
171 - 152 19
168 - 147 21
For each turn they have gained on our lead by: 2, 3, 1, 3 and 5 points.

Looks like Bremp is playing better than pggar.

Uh-oh. akots might have been right. propably.

I'm trying to find out if TF will be ok when it reaches 5 population, or if we need another MP. I guess Fanatazuma will be held in check by building Settlers, but TF is only building the palace.

One of the three new city sites you mentioned is going to be built. I'm not sure which one I support yet though.

I think the one between Zoi and Fanatazuma would pour more corruption into TF. :hmm: Not sure, though. The canal would be good to build..

I am still stongly aginst us making an embassy in C3B's capital. I can promise you that they will not like it and it will cause problems during this time of a alliance.

We could ask if they have any objections, without an embassy treaties cannot be signed(in-game), and RoP woulc be nice if they have roads our worker can walk on.

I'm certain that Bremp does not have clowns in his capital city. :)

BTW, he just won another C3C-GOTM.

@Cheetah: If you don't know how to get rid of clowns, please ask me before you play the turns. If some other team would have a chance to look at this picture with the clown, they would laugh their lungs out.

Well, akots, please tell us how. I would certaily like to know...

Perhaps a taxman instead of a clown? :hmm:

That entertainer might be a glip. I don't remember that I left anyone without work when I played. I'm not at home atm though, so I can't check the save game. It is possible that I made him an entertainer to avoid the riot, and then I'm not sure how I could have done without him if I hadn't raised the luxury slider. And with lux at 10% and science at 90 to get Writing next turn, it wasn't room for more.
