Well howdy y'all.

Soon to be at the grand age of 37 few give a hoot to celebrate, and less give presents.

So what should a fanatic such as myself reward myself for yet another year around the sun?

Big or small, trinket or treat, grandeous splurge that would offend the clergy...

What shall I get myself CFC?

A 90-minute full-body relaxation massage. At a proper spa, by a trained and experienced female professional massage therapist.

To be fair, the best massage I ever received was off a massive Turkish bloke who could have doubled as Desperate Dan.

If you have an iphone I recommend some airpods. They've come down a lot in price.

Nothing.

Not in the sense of not getting a gift. But give yourself some time of not doing anything. No obligations or plans or other people. Just a couple of days of you time that you can spend however you feel like. Play some video games, read books, go for a walk, crash on the sofa or whatever lets you completely relax.

Laphroaig Quarter Cask.

Assuming you like scotch.

Yeah best massage was from a very strong male at some health expo in California

Best gift you can give yourself is have fun w your friends

Go see Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning or Oppenheimer in an IMAX or 4DX theater. I hear if you see Oppenheimer in 4DX, you get blinded by the flash and just have to listen to the rest of the movie. :yup:

really coming around to the sage wisdom that experiences are more worthwhile to spend money on than things.

i would recommend perusing eater’s site for your town/area and finding an intriguing tasting menu. getting taken care of while you enjoy 5-7+ courses of absolutely delicious food with someone you love is the best way to spend a birthday imo. A spa day ain’t bad either tbh.

Spend 37 minutes doing something creative. Write, draw, build a sand castle, make up a tune in your head (write it down if you can), create a new recipe... see what 37 minutes can accomplish.

It doesn't have to be good. It just has to be fun, since you never know what might end up being created that never existed before in the entire history of human existence, because YOU made it. :yup:

I really don't enjoy getting that area especially wet then ineffectually dabbing it with collapsing tissue.

Seems to make as much mess as I started with.

I dare say there is a knack to it, but even a trip to Japan didn't convince me!

It is just another day and you will have many more of them for sure. If you insist on doing something, take selfie, but I suspect you already have many of those. Perhaps you could read your horoscope in the daily paper and use that for a guide? Call your mom and thank her for all the effort she expended in labor 37 years ago?
