Seriously though, I acknowledge my turn is up. I plan on taking the next 15 turns. Although anyone should feel free to speak up if they think that is too many. TMIT is up after me (on turn 45).

I have taken all the actions for the turn, but I have not clicked "End Turn" yet. I am graduating today, so I may not be available for the rest of the day. Please DO NOT end the turn unless the diplo has been sent. I am hoping our Diplomat can get a short greeting sent out to Sirius's GMail BEFORE ending the turn. If the diplo does not happen, just let the turn roll.

A short diplo message will be sent before the turn ends. Right now there is about 8 more hours. I will send it in the next couple to ensure we initiate the contact and take an active role in our relationship. Congrats Sommer.

Just to let people know... I was logged into the game and accidentally pressed the space bar, which ended our turn. All of our units appear to have already been moved by Sommerswerd. Work boat in 1 turn, won't want to be switched. So the only reason it would make a difference is if we were thinking of changing Sailing to another tech, but I don't think we are going to do that. Maybe this accident will silence those saying The AMAZON drags out its turns. We ended turn first. But it was an accident. Sorry.
EDIT: Sommer, I noticed you didn't get a demoscreenshot. There's probably more than enough time to get one, but in case you don't log in and get one, I have that screenshot. If you want I can upload it to the Team photobucket account.

Yes I had already taken all the turn moves, so no harm done.
I also had all the screenshots except the demographics. I was only holding off ending the turn to give Sirius a chance to respond to our diplo, and let people see that we found the Sirius Border.
If you upload that demog shot, I will add it to the turn log, whch is already done otherwise.

It's very interesting how close Sirius is. Our work boat may have actually come farther than theirs when we met. The land between us looks very symmetrical and smaller than I thought. I wonder if it's some kind of spoked star-shaped center continent. If all the civs are as close as us and Sirius then the map is much smaller than I thought. Otherwise there may be groupings of civs.

Just something the turnplayer might want to take a look at... Sirius's EP against us. Their EP and our EP can be seen as a fraction if you hover over their name. If you hover over their name and the numbers do not match, for example 14/16 (or the other way, I can't actually remember which EP is on top), then they have definitely met someone else.
I will be trying to keep an eye on it, but it's not any work at all to just hover over their name, so if you see the numbers are different let us know.

Hej guys. Where are the new turn log posts? I am missing a few.

And its my Mother... and the test is the Bar exam. Sorry for the delay. It is actually a small relief to get away from crying relatives and friends for a few minutes to distract my mind a little with Civ, so I am glad to keep taking the turns... I just have limited time to do them that's all.
I will try to get the next logs up as soon as I can... its just that I cant do them from my cell phone, which is how I have been keeping up with the forum. Playing the turn / posting turn log requires a little more time because I have to sit down somewhere private and use my computer. BTW the turn log is now too long with too many images (because of the second city) so we will have to come up with a new system for keeping track of all the cities' stats... Maybe this is a job for an elected "City Governor" (posting individual city info every turn, or couple of turns)
Last thing is, I said I would take 15 turns, so unless TMIT peeks his head in the forum and says he wants to go I would say remake20 is up on turn 45.

If not I am ready to take the reigns again. My first round was pretty boring with not much going on so I am looking forward to my next set

Hopefully the emergency is nothing too serious and everyone around you is ok. But that's why were a team and we can carry the load when our teammates need us.
If TMIT doesn't come back before the next turn needs to be played, it looks like it would pass to Lord Civius to be our turnplayer. He said he was itching to get back into the action. So if he could post in this thread saying he's ready to go, I'd say the turnplayer is Lord Civius. I am next on the list after that, so if the next turn rolls around without somebody saying they'll take it I'll take the turns until they get here.
