Right now we have the most land of any team, 30%. Saber is at 22% this last turn.

We should be able to get to 40% by filling in all of Gong's land.

Then we just need 26% more.

We have discussed attacking Saber's land to get us to 60% and then beat up on Babe for the rest. I've always understood that to be a two step process; we get all of Saber and then we turn on Babe.

I don't think that will work.

Once we attack Saber it will obvious we are going for Domination. The Council might DoW on Saber just to prevent us from getting all those cities. I don't see The Council/Babe being idle while we mop up Saber. Nor do I expect Saber to sit still.

Once we get to 40% land mass I think we need to build up our army (which we are doing) and then invade both Saber and Babe on the same turn, perhaps even The Council. If we add 15% each from Babe and Saber, we are at 70% land mass.

Before we invaded Gong we had 20% land mass. On that first turn we had 27% at the end of our turn 208. We would have to better than that our first turn, and that may not be possible; not with two invasions.

But if we had a big enough military to pull off two invasions, we should have enough military to disband some of them into space ship parts, (if we had the right techs).

Just some thoughts and concerns, nothing more.
 
We don't need to declare on BABE, most likely, because SABER probably has conquered/razed a chunk of BABE. With settlers, we can take those cities, plus the SABER mainland >66%. Population may be more of a challenge, but with enough cities, that shouldn't be a problem. I would prefer domination in some ways just because it is more satisfying, and the problem with Space is that if we have those techs, so will SABER/The Council.
 
I don't think I can play tonight, but I could Thursday. I get home too late to get to my PC before my mother-in-law goes to bed in my PC room, since I go to church before I get home from work.
