Tweak Mod for Xtended + Master of Mana Updates

The pedia entry for the bannor apprentice was maybe not updated. Pedia entries can sadly be quite unreliable. Removing it is probably the best.
 
A question though with the Banner apprentice, the unit was given strength and, I think, the strength boosts from tech so they could have a way to level up through combat since they didn't get the 'free' XP from casting spells like other civs. The strategy text for Bannor also discusses their handicap when it comes to magic, the apprentice being part of that. Does allowing the apprentice to get XP from casting affect the broader balance & strategy of Bannor? Should their extra strength be taken away?
 
While playing with them at quick speed I did not notice this huge game breaking balance at having both

Strange, never saw this error... Do you have the file AIAutoPlay.ini in the first location displayed?
 
EVen if it says Skeletron archers, it is Deathknell Cairnwatch... I have updated the text to match the real unit which is needed.
For Abbey, you are right.. My mistake I have now fixed it
 
Oooooh, that makes sense. Hahaha, I wasted so much time and resources rebuilding those things in every city. That should definitely be clarified in the 'pedia.
No, it's not needed, that's basic knowledge from vanilla civ, on vanilla you can change the location of palace and summer palace and i'm sorry to say but i can't believe anyone would want to start play civ for the first time on a modmod.....so it's not needed.

Probably not the best time to mention that my first ever game of Civ4 was the Babylon 5 modmod for the Final Frontier space mod of Civ4.. I know.. sacrilege.. :lol:
 
The UI fails and I just see the units and map, without any of the framing stats, science icon, victory icon, etc.

This may be due to the mod already integrating Bud mod, so two instances of Bug mod (one in the base game files and one in the mod) messes things up. I removed bug from my base game and it runs well. I don't know how you can keep two copies of Bug from fighting each other...

What is the prerequesits to install before installing V7? I keep getting crashes and errors on first turn where I did not have with previous versions. MoM Tweakmod 1.09?

SpyFanatic is on hiatus and will come back maybe december maybe earlier, and i can't help on this sorry, i would say you need to send him a save file so he will see on it as soon as he is back so i suggest you to post here a save game of the first turn of one of those games before the crashes and errors. If you didn't have them with previous versions maybe there is a bug because for what i know he didn't change the prerequesits with V0.7

You can start playing civ 4 however you like, it's a great game from every angle :lol: so it doesn't matter...i started it in 2005 as soon as it was out...started the series with civ 1... sooooo....I only thought it by my prospective and blurted out like a Spanish Inquisitor "BLASPHEMY!!!" :crazyeye:

Do you maybe have old files lingering around? This mod is standalone. Try a clean reinstall.
1.) Delete or rename your "mods/Master of Mana" folder
2.) Extract v7 into "mods/Master of Mana"

Ask whatever you want, if we can we will answer, but the civilopedia in-game has a lot so maybe first read that. For bugs you can report here and SpyFanatic will debug when he will come back from his hard earned holidays :D in case posting a save game can really help to find and correct the bugs
