Anyone can join as long as there are open spots. Just show up at 1pm EST, thats 12 noon in Illinois I believe. Messege GenSwartz for the IP or check this thread, I will post the IP right before the game starts.

I've got my work cut out for me I'm sure as the AI abandoned my near finished wonder and I'm sure botched up other things as well. I look forward to the challange!

i hope im awake :sleep: .o and one other thing if i get a small civ ill be peaceful i will not be as peaceful if i have big civ.

ICQ is the most common messaging service used. By getting an ICQ account (ICQ number), you'll be able to chat with other players just prior to the game, or if you have problems connecting to the game. Anarchywrksbest already gave you the link to Trillion on July 10th, please follow up on it or you'll have no chance of contacting the players (we won't be checking this thread at start time). Trillion is free software you can use for your ICQ account, the same way you have browser software to use your internet account. Look into other players' profiles, you'll find our ICQ numbers there.

Finally, when the host is starting up, you'll get a "game IP address" to tell your game where to find the host game.

it wont let me download so i cant play i gess or at least talk before the game starts this sucks
 
I will post the IP address right before we start so if you check the thread at 1pm (12pm Central) you will be able to join.

This is getting embarresing :( Its not my fault i had a really bad starting place and the AI messed up some of my plans but im just about to expand. a lot....

I can DEFINITELY make it today! My thing was cancelled so prepare to....um....laugh at my pitiful performance.......

Maybe your start location has strategic merit, anarchywrksbest.:) . I started on the defined (Roman) SW island position, which, in chess, would make me a rook.

I checked the map last night to get an idea of where we are all supposed to start. Narz (Babylonian), I'll be seeing you soon!

We had a full house (7 human civs) on board today. Good session all :goodjob: I hope everyone can make it next Sunday! Unless otherwise specified that game will start at 6pm GMT (1PM EST, 10AM PDT) since this seems to work for everyone.

I'll be out of town this Sunday, using another computer. GenShwartzCough, please post the IP here, as I will not have messaging.

If somebody rules the Romans in my place :cry: , please note the following trade in progress with the Spanish: 4 settlers for the 2 nearest Spanish cities. 2 settlers have been sent already (sold for 1 gold each). Next step is to buy the 2 cities for 1 gold each, then immediately produce the 2 remaining settlers (in those cities) and send them to Spain, completing the transaction. Don't disband the military units hovering around those Spanish cities until the deal is complete!:D
