The Ultimate Showdown 3.0 - Yet More Showdowniness​

New version, here is what I added.

• To make up for Europe's advantage in total IC and infrastructure, Asian, African, and Latin American countries get 20 IC in their capital to start instead of 10 like before.
• All countries start with at least one airfield. All coastal countries start with at least one port. Now countries like Cyprus and Madagascar will actually do something.
• Added an event that will cause everyone to declare war on everyone else from the start.
• Tons of new countries

Update II - January 1, 1936 - May 1, 1936​

I'm sure you are all eager to find out who the first to fall is. Luxembourg was a popular choice, as was Wales. I personally thought it would be one of the central Asian stan countries, or Palestine or Israel. However, we were all way off. Instead, we have to go all the way to Central America, where Costa Rica managed to deploy two divisions before anyone else in the hemisphere, and used them to annex Nicaragua.

Second last goes to someone no one picked, Pakistan. India starts its Asian rampage by taking out its neighbour and biggest rival.

Up next, is the second most popular pick for first eliminated, Luxemburg. They tried to make a run for it and grab as much land as quickly as they could, but FRG put an end to that idea.

To the Balkans we go. Montenegro moves down the coast and annexes Albania. Now all Montenegro has to worry about is the big Balkan countries like Serbia and Greece.

Speaking of Serbia, they have been busy conquering Bosnia. At this early point of time, Serbia is looking to be doing fairly well for itself.

Still in the former Yugoslavia, Croatia finishes off Slovenia. Though not everything is going so smoothly for Croatia, as Austria and RSI have decided to join the Yugoslav party.

To France, where Bretagne is finally defeated. Bretagne was running all over the place before finally getting defeated by the combined forces of the two Frances.

To the Spanish Civil War, where Euskadi gets absorbed by the mayhem of Iberia. Nationalist Spain now just has to worry about Republic Spain. And Portugal. And Italy apparently.

Liberia gets the action started off in Africa, annexing their equally small neighbours Sierra Leone.

Finally, the Middle East. Israel and Palestine have so far fought themselves to a stalemate. But Palestine found the time to conquer Jordan.

Time for the big maps, in all of their chaotic glory. Wales and Scotland are giving England headaches, Iberia is a total mess, France, Vichy, and Flanders are fighting over northern France, and RSI is beating Italy. FRG seems to be having a bit of trouble, with Denmark taking their north. Poland has expanded some. DDR, hereby to be refered to as Deutsch Deutsch Revolution, are doing quite well for themselves so far. Turkey is being torn apart by Greece and Armenia. Serbia got wrecked by a Greek invasion. Romania is blobbing up fairly nicely, and Don Cossacks has taken most of Southern Ukraine, while also losing a lot of land to Georgia. Russia has done nothing so far, since it takes forever for their divisions to get from Moscow to the front, allowing Finland to take some land. Also, Scandinavia is a mess, just like everywhere else. Really is no frontrunner here yet.

Algeria is getting beaten by my pick for African winner, Morocco, while Libya is losing to Egypt and Tunisia. Liberia is moving into West Africa. Cameroon took western Gabon, while Equatorial Africa is taking northern Cameroon. Ethiopia is losing to Sudan and Somalia, who in turn is losing to East Africa. Mozambique has almost been defeated by Rhodesia. And South Africa is on the verge of an epic fail, with Namibia overrunning the cape.

West Asia is also a mess. Iraq has overrun southern Iran. Oman is taking over Yemen, while Yemen is taking over Saudi Arabia. Kurdistan and Iraq are trading land. India has a real mess on their hands, with Afghanistan, Nepal, Bhutan, and Ceylon running wild. Central Asia has surprising not seen anyone get annexed, and the borders are just crazy now. Burma has taken over lots of Siam, Guangxi has almost been defeated by Nationlist China. Philippines took Taiwan, Japan landed in Korea, where South Korea and Best Korea are still fighting it out. Tannu Tuva is marching across Mongolia, while Mengkukuo is heading south into China. Sarawak and Brunei have taken some Indonesia land, but thats about all thats happened in Southeast Asia/Oceania.

In South America, Chile and Uruguay have so far overwhelmed Argentina. Venezuela attacked Colombia, who have attacked into Ecuador. Peru has lost a lot of land, and Bolivia is moving west as Paraguay moves into Bolivia.

To North America. Cascadia has lost Oregon to California, who has lost southern California to Deseret. Lakota has overrun western Canada. Apparently I am now a citizen of the Republic of Lakota. New England took New York, while losing Atlantic Canada to the West Indies. The USA, took Richmond from the Confederates, but have lost lots of land, and now consists of Virginia, Maryland and New Jersey. The Texas-Mexico border is a mess. Cuba has taken most of Florida, and Guatemala has taken the Gulf of Mexico. Great Lakes is...doing something. I'm not sure what, but apparently it involves Kansas. The Dominican Republic lost a province to Haiti, and Quebec took Kingston.

How it works. If you pick right in one of the categories, you get 3 points. If your pick isn't right, however it was only one off, you would get 2 points. If it was two off, you would get 1 point. Anything else is 0 points. For example, say Country A is the last European country left. Anyone who picked them would get 3 points. If Country B was second last country in Europe left, it would be worth 2 points. And anyone who picked Country C, who was the third last country left in Europe, would get 1 point.

For First Eliminated, Nicaragua is worth 3 points, Pakistan 2 points, and Luxemburg 1 point.

I added my own picks, but I don't have any great advantage in knowing what happens, and I can't win anyway.

Update III - May 1, 1936 - August 1, 1936​

Wales is finally defeated, with English forces capturing Cardiff. Now they just need to defeat Scotland and the island can be all theirs.

To Arabia, where Oman was able to take over Yemen while the Yemeni army was busy running around the Arabian desert. Now the Saudis have to contend with a single, unified force in the south.

The Balkans now has one less country, with Croatia finally being defeated. The Croatians had actually migrated up to Austria, where they were defeated by the Austrians and RSI, but since the Serbs controlled Zagreb, they get the credit for it. And yes, that is Cyprus in Mostar and Dubrovnik.

Egypt does their best Montgomery impression, driving across the Libyan desert. Although now that Egypt has reached Tripoli, they are now up against the Moroccans, Algerians, and I think some Tunisians are still in the area.

Some bad news from Asia. Best Korea has been defeated. Manchukuo occupied Pyongyang, defeating the Great Leader. And thus, only one Korea remained.

Finally, to the Middle East, where the battle between Iraq and Kurdistan comes to an end, with Kurdistan being the loser. And as you can see, Iraq now has to contend with the Azeris launching an offensive from the north.

And so after 7 months of fighting, here is Europe. England has thus far refused to invade Scotland for some reason, despite superior numbers. Obviously afraid of a potential Zombie William Wallace. Vichy and Flanders had actually pushed France all the way back to just the area around Paris, and looked like they could have won, by France bounced by and in less than a month totally collapsed. Portugal is overrunning Iberia, but victory there is far from assured. Italy pushed RSI back, and have broken out into southern France and Switzerland. FRG has lost most of Germany to Denmark and Deutsch Deutsch Revolution. A French division migrated halfway across Europe, which is how they ended up with the Jutland. Poland has collapsed and regrown and collapsed a couple of times now. Lithuania is looking to rebuild their old empire, while the Balkans is still a mess. Romania at one point had a nice empire carved out, but has now totally collapsed. Russia has just about finished Finland, but now a serious lack of divisions in Russia itself appears to be a bad thing for its future.

In Africa, good news for anyone who picked South Africa. They have rebounded and retaken the coast. Namibia is now heading north into Angola, while Rhodesia is into Mozambique. Somalia is continuing to try and take out Ethiopia, while East Africa looks to be in a really bad position, with Madagascar landing in the south. Liberia looks rather good in West Africa, same with Nigeria. Cameroon has basically lost Cameroon, but taken most of Gabon.

To Asia, where India has broken out in the west, while at the same time suffering from invasions from Ceylon, Nepal, and Bhutan still. Kazakhstan has been pushed back to the area around their capital, while the other central Asian countries continue to fight it out. Southeast Asia is a mess. I can hardly remember which colour is supposed to be which country. Nationalist China's originally strong position from last update is looking a bit more unstable, with Guangxi reviving, and the Communist coming from the west and Shanxi in the north building up. Manchukuo is being pushed back by Primorsk, Shanxi, and Korea. Japan had landed in southern China, but got pushed out. Though they have managed to make a landing in Pyongyang. Sarawak and Brunei have managed to take all of Indonesian Borneo, and are now turning on each other. Australia landed on Sulawesi, while Indonesia landed in Australia. And New Zealand has lost most of the North Island.

Where to start with South America? Uruguay broke out along the Brazilian coast. Paraguay is growing outwards. West Indies landed in Venezuela, and Venezuela took some of Colombia. Chile and Argentina continue to battle it out in the south.

Finally, North America. Despite being nearly defeated, the USA has bounced back significantly, taking back most of the eastern seaboard. The CSA is in ruins, and somehow control Michigan. Canada has taken Montreal, while also losing the west to Cascadia and Lakota. The Texan-Mexican front is all messed up. California has taken their land back from Deseret and have moved into Arizona. Great Lakes has been severely weakened, and Newfoundland landed in Atlantic Canada and Virginia for some reason.

So, generally, the world looks like someone took a bunch of paint cans and dropped them on a map.
