Colonel Tigh
Chieftain
Whoops, sorry
Misunderstood you lol.

Thanks! I just noticed a glitch on the southwards facing anims, where the shield and the tunic intersect. I'll sort that out!Looks brilliant!
Lovely, it looks very much like the image that I had in my mind for this unit. I love it.
Not taking requests??!?!!It's mostly rendered now, and I honestly don't have time to redo it again. However, the good news is that I'm going to try to concentrate on getting a few new basic Greek units out by early-mid May (though I'm not taking requests
).
Blue is the civ colour; the actual Macedonian civilization will be a light purple; therefore this guy should be about as authentic a Macedonian as you can get with the paperdoll male! One question that I forgot to ask so far - what is the civ colour on the unit?

Just a thought - what about using the crouching animation as a "fidget?"
I've had a crack at this:

There is, however a problem. The sarissa is so big, this is the only direction it fits properly in!!
As I see it, I have three basic options:
1. Resize the unit - but to fit the sarissa into the all frames in every direction would mean that the guy would have to be about a third of the size. Clearly I can then organise for the frames to be done at three time the size to make the guy the same size as other units, but I feel that the sarissa would be too big.
2. Resize the sarissa - the most obvious answer. However, it would have to be a third of the size to fit it in and that would look poor in some directions. I could do a time-exhausting different size for each direction to make it look okay.
3. Re-do the unit with the normal Kinboat spear, but still have two hands holding it.
Any thoughts?
Speaking of release dates, is this unit only going to be available as part of Anno Domini, or will it be released in advance? And if you want any 'feedback in advance' on any other Greek/Macedonian units then I will be happy to bore you with trivial details as and when necessary.
