That one could possibly work. I had given that one some consideration along with Kinboat's golden horde settler animations.

I am thinking a settler leading his pack animal heavily-laddened with pioneering equipment would be visually more interesting. Perhaps we could assemble a munit with the standard settler and maybe Kryten's horse figure? Perhaps a stand-alone horse or donkey with appropriate pioneer equipment props?

Whilst there are no colors to reference by this sketch here, I think it's safe to assume that he is wearing a simple three-quarter tunic with a leather belt, baldrick, and ankle-length boots with bindings.

If this unit is considered, I would say his fur lined cap could be civ-colored, along with the tunic. The fur-lined cloak could possibly be a truncated version of Kinboat's germanic/european spearman cloak. The sword of course would have bronze toning.

I suspect an axeman and archer could be nice companions for this unit as well...

WinRAR is perfectly safe to my knowledge and widely used. Another common one I've never tried is 7zip. (Google 'em, both are free)

Most unit makers have their own queues, or are extremely busy.
Posting ideas here takes nothing.
Making the unit takes a lot of time and talent.
I really don't remember the last time a request here actually made it to a unit.
There are a lot of requests, so don't think yours (or anybody elses) is exactly on a fast track to being created.
EDIT: Yeah, besides somebody getting lucky with their request in a Sandris-pack, the last request made into a unit (I believe) was when Ruby_Sauce made his own requests.

Okay, I have a request, or rather, a question:

Where can I find units that have original Faraxis animations, but have more than 1 unit in it. Like in the Playground Mod there was a barbarian unit that had 3 warriors grouped together on one tile. I would like to have one of this that has an infantry unit in it.
