Unit requests thread

A new twin engine fighter animation completely without bombing run (would have and most likely will use Coyote`s Mosquito animation if i dont get it t work...).

i would recommend to use the mosquito animation only as base and make some minor changes [i think you only have to delete the bomb drop effect from the "Mosquito_MD_Bomb.kf ", they are entry number two and three in the Nikeytxtextradata there], than it should only use the guns when make a ground attack

What's wrong with fighters bombing ground targets? Even the smallest single-engined fighters could often carry a single modest bomb (and often did). Of course, one of the main point of twin-engine fighters was that it could carry a heavier load then fighters... I can pretty much assure you, all twin-engine fighters of WWII doubled as "fighter/bombers" in that they could "bomb" ground targets too!

As it was with Hitler, he had an obsession with ensuring all his new planes (no matter what they were) could carry bombs... including the Me-262 (which was delayed in-part due to this decision to modify the frame to carry bombs).

(judging from your screenshots i have a different nifscope tho, i dont see the stuff assorted into that tree structure and i also dont have numbers..)

Yea, I know, but somehow it doesnt feel right in this case :crazyeye:
Moreover, i think the Uhu really didnt have any hardpoints except for one external tank, although it was quite a large plane.
 
if you select view you can choose show blocks in three, i have also block details activated (the standard is show blocks in list and no block details)

its never done before , only a few times in civ three when a pro from a big company did it , ....

the animation was so that when your airplane left a carrier or city it would look like its wings where folded , and then there was like a take off ( imagine an airstrip in your city ) , ...

its complex , but then again its a long summer :mischief:

That Stiletto Stealth Boat looks seriously cool. Pity there is no ability to introduce stealth generations which give a better advantage against previous generation aircraft. Might be a good python mod. But anyway, I would really like to see the AH-64D Apache Longbow see the light of day as it should. The only version we have is the A model. I would be happy if the radome from the current gunship was added to the rotors on the A model to convert it into a D which shouldn't really take that long should it? Also I would like to see if anyone wants to do it, a Humvee Avenger SAM as a fast battlefield SAM system. Incidently with Python it should be possible to make a mod of the default combat system where some SAMs don't have to be on intercept to take on enemy aircraft but suffer a little bit of a performance hit to make up for Fortify command seemingly meaning that a fire zone is prepared for the equipment. What do others think?

I wonder if this is a unit requestion tread or an aircraft requestion tread.;)

I just want to repeat my requests for units - unfortunately there is no aircraft at my list, but I hope, there were some skilled graphic designers wo like to try one of my requests too...

I am looking for these units:
- capped siege ram (like AoE 2)
- Camelrider with sword or spear, not bow
- Alpine troop like in Civ2
- Railroad Artillery
- as much as possible female soldiers for a Amazon civ, in all Ages

Perhaps I forgot one request, but I think that is enough for this time...
