Nearly 5 years separates these 2 guys. The difference is stark.
I wasn't aware they used metal strips instead of cloth for the flag.

Wow... those horses run reaaaaaaaaaaaly weird up close, but I'm not sure its a problem at civ scale.

That looks like it was some serious blowout. Do you know what caused it? That tire looks like it was brand new.

No freaking clue. The highway changed from concrete to black asphalt and then a heard a slight thud.. then vibration got harder and harder from that corner.. I looked in my rear view mirror and saw I was trailing smoke. When I pulled over there was a large pile of rubbery ash where my wheel rested. Luckily the walls were stiff enough that I wasn't driving on my rims while it happened.
Strangely, after I got my tire replaced, my battery died. No idea.... And my phone battery was almost dead too, so I barely had enough charge to call my friend for help. We couldn't jump my car so he called a tow truck for help. We looked dumb because the tow guy started it up in an instant. But the whole mess delayed me getting home for 3 hours, plus another hour waiting in the tire store to get it replaced. Then I had to go to work for another 9 hours. All in all my day started out at 7am and I finally got to bed around 4am the next day. 2 days before when I started my trip.. I woke up at 8pm on Weds, and went to bed around 1am Friday morning. So I was rather tired until last night. I had a LOT of energy drinks and adrenaline just to keep me on my feet.

Modern camo is useful, but the old uniform with bright & rich colors is beautiful.
